Tillian was really my intro and main voice in the band for me but even listening to earlier DGD it’s another seasonal change and I’m sure the chemistry of their music composition process won’t change and they’ll continue to release bangers

Each lead singer of DGD is a different era of the band which makes listening to their discography timeless. Imo doesn't matter who replaces Tillian (being former singers or a new one) Will Swans genius always prevails.

what a banger!! poppy's style is something called post-genre. she's always exploring new sounds and mashing them up together. she has so many alternative metal projects that are so good. and she's fairly big it's just that her fans aren't necessarily in the hardcore scene so it's nice seeing her get introduced to a new demographic.

as much i love DGD tillian was DGD for me. so this makes me feel uneased. not that i won't enjoy DGD overall. its just that i found DGD whilst tillian was lead and thus crafted a love for his vocals

Musically DGD has always been great, but JC was and will always be their most soulful voice that wrote the songs that still resonate nearly 2 decades later. Tillian was very good with Tides of Man and his Emarosa demos were pretty good, but I never liked him much in DGD. Kurt's two albums had more of an emotional impact than all of the Tillian albums.

Tilian era is what I came to love about DGD, disappointed that I won't be able to listen to the band without him

Rly not too much into the scene aside fm dgd and a few other bands, so I have absolutely no Idea who they might get now and frankly idk if any1 but Tilian is gonna scratch that itch. But I will say that as much of a dickhead as Tilian likely was and or is, The band saw a lot of success and bangers w him and I will miss that. Not sure how to feel abt this but I think his marriage defo has smtg to do with it.

good reaction man , I am also a smaller reaction channel myself and have really enjoyed the new LMTF's singles. It is my most anticipated album of this year. I'd recommend a few suggestions for future reaction videos. Dying Wish - Torn From Your Silhouette , Enterprise Earth - Blood and Teeth.

oh my god the intro 😂 "here we have the cast of Dune 2" This is such an interesting progression of styles for VoV, it's like a completely different band from Broken//Bones and Children of Chrome. It's refreshing to see a band so comfortable with their own style and embracing non-conformity. Jack's cleans have improved a lot as well in such short time and he seems to be doing the heavy lifting on both sides of vocals instead of James, although I do really love James's vocals and hope they still appear on the album, tracks like Berghain from Chronicles were real standouts for me because of his cleans

What's wild about all of this is the fact that none of these allegations are substantiated. Nothing went to court. The girl decided Reddit was the proper court of opinion to ruin tilian. This just goes to show how much power women actually have. They cry wolf, and your life is ruined.

Great debut track. Didnt love his screams but certainly not something that would keep me from checking out their music in the future

Personally I would love Johnny Franck aka Bilmuri to step in to do co vocals with Andrew and Jon. I think he would be a reinvigoration for the band and could help usher in a very unique sound for them.

I didn't really like most of the songs after Mothership. Looking forward to DGD getting another singer or just going with Andrew and maybe getting a bit of a refresher.

Super happy about this tbh. I'm a Jonny fan so I'm able to separate the artist from the art lol. With that said I, like some others, got really bored of Tillian. Awesome voice and range but when it came down to melody and lyrics it got repetitive. I would like to see DGD go for a more mature sound, lyrically at least lol.

I think Tilian fucked around to much after the anniversary of Tims passing and the rest of the band view him as a liability after his most recent hiatus.

He made bangers but Tilly boy was still kind of an all around cunt, either way it's good and hopefully Kurt will come back

I've hated this man for a good minute and have been unable to separate the artists and actions but overall his sound was amazing but sometimes he would just kill songs and not in a good way. Refused to try or sing Jonny or Kurt's songs ignoring them just because he didn't like them. This has great opportunity

Tilian sucked. Never understood why so many people liked him as the vocalist. Way too high pitched of a voice, his voice sounds the same on nearly every track he was on. Nothing they have done with Tilian beats their first 4 albums.

Eddie does both singing and screaming parts so effortless I can’t believe he’s real. Violin brings that charming atmosphere you simply can’t stand against falling in love with this band. Amazing

That sucks. Tillian was the first vocalist i herd in dgd. Strawberry swisher part 3 got me into them. Then i went bwck and heard jonny and kurt which was good but tillian era eas the best.
