In this video we completely gut this old Land Cruiser of its wiring and replace it all. I install new Motor Meter gauges from Amazon in hopes to freshen the look of the dash. I expected to get what I paid for but in this case they didn't even function. After reading a lot of reviews on these gauges a lot of people are saying the same thing. The Tach is programmable with a button on the back and...

NSX Steering Rack Knocking. Problem fixed! Removal and install.
Instead of the BOV, you should just cover it and let the air com off the turbo and do the flutter sound. It's sounding ok.. but it's not revving cleanly, it takes too long.
Thanks. I need to do this on my ’04. My auto zone only had 3 different radiators. Not the one I needed. They kept saying I was measuring wrong. Had to order it online.
Grab it with the crooked Joe 😅😂
Poor crooked joe pliers
...why did you remove the entire rack, I still don't understand...You can do this work directly, with the rack on position. In fact, the normal way. Honestly , waste of time...
i bought a 2004 wrx that has engine knock from pushing 33 pounds of boost with an aftermarket turbo and blew it. is it worth the hassle of trying to rebuild the engine or buy a new one? and would you guys have any videos on rebuilding an ej205?
I owned a 1968 coupe mk1 in 1975 and a 1969 coupe mk2, fantastic cars, paid £275 for the 68 running and £75 for the 69 as a parts car. I rebuilt the 68 mk1 engine twice. What a piece of engineering, service interval was 3000 miles but I never made this before open heart surgery again ! I built a good 69 mk2 car once I’d perfected my rebuilds and it drove like a sewing machine, 80hp from 800cc at 8000 rpm. Biggest improvement was fitting new 145 tyres to the front and 155 tyres rear, had a very interesting chat at Motor Show with a former Honda Team tech expert. The car handled well after this. 21-22 yrs old, I had an ex Royal Navy chief engineer for a Dad, his ability to tune and balance four carbs by ear was extraordinary. Can’t believe values today, it broke my bank continuously in 74/75, a weeks wages for an air filter, a years wages for a gearbox or diff’, hence the parts car. Sold the 69 Mk2 in 75, £375, and then sold all my spare parts for £450. Fond memory but always skint. 😎👍😂
I need that front bumper🥲
I first saw an S800 in Okinawa at a Honda dealer in 1967 on my way to Vietnam. It was a fastback. I wrote a letter to Honda trying to buy one, but they suggested that I not buy one as I would be a “stand alone” with no parts or service in the States. Turns out I could have taken it to a Honda motorcycle shop for engine service. Oh well. LOL
Just saw on FB Marketplace. Not looking to buy but very nice!
Make it bigger there's obviously a lot of electron flow it's probably screwed right onto the paint🤣🤣🤣🤣
What will that cost
Asking 8900
My 77 looked way cooler...
Was there oil in the motor when you did this?
Thanks for this. I was getting frustrated trying to find replacements and getting no response from ST or KW
awesome . i learned to drive in one of those great memories, thank you for sharing
I thought you were going to open the rack and replace the seals inside of it.
We do that in house, just send it in for a 3-5 day turnaround. We replace all the wearable items which includes our custom manufactured parts not available anywhere else. Send us an email at info@nsxrackrepair.com

I went to install mine yesterday, same bolt alignment issue🙄
✌🏾🫡….. ai Nice!!!
Little work inside and out it will be great
Love it. Thank you for sharing 👍😎
did you experience any mild clutch shudder as I did with the SOS sport 350?
What size bolts did you use for the engine stand?
I'm trying to take my roof seals off at the moment, but they're not budging. They appear to be adhered with glue. Looking at the service manual, section 20-84, glue seems to be expected. Any idea why this car's seals weren't adhered? And, did you personally not use any EPT Sealer nor Cemedine P/N 08712-0004 to attach the new seals? If not, how are they holding up?
I owned 2 coupes mid 70s
Are you twisting the key 😂😂
Tech tip from a really old Honda guy. That caliper is a hi-po dual piston design one puck hits the inboard pad directly the opposing one does it thru the stamped slider plate to clamp on outside pad. 😮
Nice! Just bought a 2014 model with 2,000 miles on it. No damage, nicely kept. Paid $2,995. Have ridden it 200 miles no issues. Cheaper than a new one!
Great video
The solar flare is wild! What a cool video. So many different perspectives.
Thanks! About to throw my rebuilt rack in tonight!
Ghey
Nice work. Did the same thing myself last year. I drilled and tapped the drum brake in two places so I could use two bolts to walk the drum off, along with some anti seize on the hub face. Also painted the warn hub labels so I could more easily see the 4x2 and 4x4 positions.
You've replaced the bump stops but broken your shock absorbers! NEVER use an impact wrench to tighten the top nut, it spins the shaft and breaks the internal valves of the damper.....! 😮😮 KW are very clear about this, how did you miss it?
…and that’s not how you tighten jam nuts. WTF is a “half nut”? 😂
Good
Nice work , how close to the factory colour finish can you get Cerakote ?
Thank you so much for providing NSX Targa maintenance content, you are probably the only UA-camr with such knowledge and dedication to help owners. A MILLION THANKS!
I was holding my breathe watching you peel that foil off the interior pieces. Some of the most expensive parts to source for the older NSX. Killed it and you provided some good tips I can use to takle this on my 93 NSX. Thanks for the video brotha!
I did this and it came out great! However, my passenger side window does not work after putting it all back together. Ive been scratching my head on this. Makes no sense! Lol
You have a wonderful workspace. I admire it.🔧
Have you tried sandblasting the foil covering off? 120-grit aluminum oxide and using lower pressure, say 50 psi should take it right off in just a few minutes. That’s what I use for stripping off coatings like that on plastic. Great video by the way.
How have these bumpstops been going? I've got a set of KW V3 on a BMW that's destroyed it's bumpstop as well and the original KW ones are hard to find/ expensive.
How's the resto coming on? (waiting on pt2)
We are wrapping up a few other projects that are in the way and then we will be making some progress on this Honda. I can't wait!!!
You're doing a good job!
Why not use just one air filter?
🎉 P R O M O S M
BEAUTIFULLY DONE! A TRUE craftsman! I replaced mine with CF, but I truly loved watching you redo yours. BTW, I have the same interior, black/tan in my 1996.
Those are so cool!!! I love how the Toyota badge's font is slanted.
