but leeds can bypass any type of structure even if its Tek Structure and attack directly the raft. The only bullet proof raft i have ever tried to build is one back on ASE with floating foundations extending bellow the raft that adds some distance between leeds and raft hitbox

Try this next time. Start by putting your fence foundation between the 2nd and 3rd board and then place the pillar. This should give you the same 3 across.

This is amazing. I wonder, can you turn the base model into any kind of taming raft? love taming rafts, I hate encountering Leeds on the way to say Carno Island or all over the place in the centre.( I once lost my raft, tame, and a preserving bin full of rare kibble ). Even if the raft is a bit less leed resistant, as long as it’s enough to run for it to shore I’m happy.

Nice build. Things to add are turrets on the bottom of the boat. Beds, two bunks minimum and storage for PvP. I also suggest adding turrets to the inside and back of the boat.

I haven't tried this in ASA but in Evolved, I put plant X turrets on all for corners of the raft and set to attack wild creatures. This should slow the leeds down and help you get away.

A generator and underwater turrets works for me :)

You can drive the raft by selecting any part of it; you don't need to select just the handle part.
