Because I am busy leveling rather then recording in the HOPES I get into some PvP Action? I mean I could gank people... but... If you ever PLAYED Paladin level 35+... Precharging Reckbomb and 1 shotting people isn't really interesting. Point is... EVERYONE knows Paladin is INSANELY good if its the one starting a fight... but what about being on the defense while leveling? 50% Life... Full Mana... Fighting a Mob... Rogue shows up to play. For example? Even more so... if I get into TOO many fights in a an area... I just move to dungeon grinding or a more seculded location. So no fighting. I am tyring to level not fight the server to prove Paladin Stronk level 36.

I know. But these mobs heal... stun... stun heal... are a bit few and far between. And the mages arn't that "skilled" IMO. You can see at the end of the dungeons we do a 8 melee mob pull... like 2 of them and it goes suss. If you have 2 good mages then you cand do that yes. Paladin +4 Mages is a great dungeon tank group. The other issue here is that I am a Stam/Spirt Paladin Not a Stam/Int paladin. So this play style is more go go go... then it is about gathering big packs.

​@@pallytime2156It takes time for a group to feel their boundaries for sure and I didn't take in consideration your stam/spirit gear. What i'm saying is that paladin tank is capable of much much more. Regarding stuns and such, it doesn't really matter. Use Torch of Holy Flame (quest reward) and grenades (you can save them for a snap threat) combining with DS or BoP + potion of speed if you're real chad for pull, then LoS and outdamage any mob activity with your pumper buddies. P.S. I should've started my comment with "with all due respect". I'm literally feeling blessed with your response. I've learned a lot from you, looking forward for your TBC insights on paladin

@@LC-zk5ri Priest makes no sense. Paladin can do HUGE pulls with Bubble and BoP... Lock and 4 mages use to be good do to pulls with Eye of Killrog. But in classic you get to dungeon with what you got. Especially as a non-mage class.

Not really, paladins have a great time tanking dungeons, we're clearing them a lot faster. Raids a bit different, but in fact the only problem protection paladins face being MT is the lack of raw damage warrior tanks provide. Not having taunt is a bummer, but you have HoJ and BoP to make it safe for your group

I am pretty sure 11 in holy is mandatory for consecration.

stick to consecration. consider that for any paladin build that wants to even remotely pretend to tank, the 11/x/x is mandatory.

season to taste. Engi-Mining is better but I just wanted gold and gear on my first char. Bubble + Speed Pot is GG's for escapping... Add LoH and why go engi?

Tried it. Which is better depends on a lot of factors. Consecration SP ratio is VERY low. And SoR wants FAST wep. So if we are FAST wep = judge SoCru is a good idea... otherwise we just go double SoR. Also depends how outdated your ranks are.

Only your mana bar matters for healing dungeons. Your Talents really don't matter much. For AoE farming you need stam/Int or Stam/Spirt gear and often you want them both. You will want a 11/X/0 build and have about 70% of your gear be stam/Spirt with 30% of your gear... Rings... Back... Neck being Int/Spirt gear. Have some extra int gear to heal dungeons in bags. Random bits of cloth / leather / whatever for healing you got out of dungeions.

@pallytime2156 Thanks for the reply. To go 11/X/0 means i am better with shield/1h. Do i already use it for 10-20 or just when i unlock consecration? It is obviously only a efficiency question as both would somehow work...

@@dad.spielt Well if you are AoE Grinding you need a shield... and if you arn't you use a 2 hander. Paladin AoE doesn't really come online tell level 41.

Don't use stam/int gear... use T0 bits... whatever T1 you got... and Stam/Int Spell Power Plate from BRD. You have to run those dungeons more then I care to think about to get yoru Pre-Raid BiS so the gear will just pile up on its own.

@@pallytime2156 Right, Ive gotten a decent amount of stam/int/spell power gear from LBRS/BRD but no T0 or T1. Do you think a holy shock/Eye for an eye build would be comparable to ret/reck at this point with The knicker and equivalent dungeon gear? Or just hold off until I have set pieces to go holy shock/eye for and eye for pvp?

@@Goldtoothkey My plan is to just wait for Rank 10 and 13. But if for some reason I was interested in PvP given your situation. I would go Holy Reckoning for sure. You can leverage the mana advantage... and get some ret reckoning experiance. You can learn a lot about Ret Reckoning by playing Holy Reck. You can also try Heal Reck if you like. It will give you most damage in the bomb and you do have mana sooo... Other then that hard to say.

@@Goldtoothkey Did a guide less then a week only on Holy Shock, Holy Reck / Ret Reck and Heal Reck. Heal Reck is 9/25/17... its a Ret Reckoning Paladin that can heal with 3/3 Imp Con Aura

@@Midnightrave69 Yeah I thought that as well. Fury Prot is for single target tanking... and is at its BEST when you can be spam healed. For dugeons its "ware a shield" and "I really don't care what spec you are... ware a damn shield on a 60 war = you can tank"

Fury prot produces more threat and mitigates the exact same damage as deep prot, regardless of gear level. You can and should use a shield as fury prot. People seem to think fury prot = dual wielding. Fury prot is simply taking the mitigation AND threat bonuses in prot then going down the fury tree. All you lose over deep prot is a stun and tactical mastery.

Nothing will help you more with that then watching my "PvP Paladin / Warrior Healign guide" Weapon is the LEAST of your worries honestly. Mug-O-Hurt is needed though to slow druids.

Noting... she's fine... just chilling on rested XP The level 42-44 can be a bit of a grind... not a lot of quests so just chilling. I have 2 goals in Classic 1. PvP test level 60 paladin and again in TBC 2. Get Paladin to 60 in HC. Right now I leveling my PvP Paladin to 40's so he can chill in rested XP.

11/X/0 Stam/Int It will be a bit pricey on AH so take your time building it. You really just need a level 40-44 suit and you will make it to level 54 easy. By that time you live in BRD so it don't matter anymore that your gear is out of data. Use a Knightly Longsword.
