Moving to Lehigh don’t know wether to work in fort Meyers or Naples which had less traffic

I live in Punta Gorda. Unless you work remote, are in IT/Service/Medical or you are TOTALLY retired, don't move here. This is mostly an old people town where everything is busy from 6am - 2pm. You can go out, but be prepared for things to close earlier than your Ft. Myers/Sarasota places, where they close at 10pm-12am at most. Fisherman's Village/Gilchrist Park/Ponce De Leon is crowded in the months of November-April. They close early on weekdays. Boca Grande is nice if you can go right before sunset. But note: the island is in LEE county, NOT Charlotte, so be prepare to pay a toll to go over the bridge. Past that, this is also a seasonal town/city. Once tourist season is over, you are most likely going to be let go of the job, unless you have seniority. You NEED a car to get to places here. If you live next to your Walmart, please have your stuff delivered, because most of the time the stores are overly crowded in tourist season, or get in the stores by 7am at most. If you can get out to the stores at night like I do, then that will be your best chance to shop in peace. Most people are in their houses by 7-8pm around here, so it gets real quiet. Unlike the city places, Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte takes forever to get things in stock, so if it is out, sorry buddy, order online.

Lehigh Acres is ok but Hallandale Beach Florida is better just more business and growing communities and beautiful beaches.

The fact about moving to Lehigh acres is that this town is not supported by the people that don't really care about Lehigh acres and kept moving on, second thing about Lehigh acres is that it is the largest residential community in Lee county so this means that Lehigh acres is designed for people to live in, third thing is that is about Lehigh acres is that crimes are higher than 50 percent. Thus, Lehigh acres is a quiet place

OK but it's nothing like Miami or Hallandale Beach its nothing really to do up there living there was boring, I rather stay in Hallandale Beach or Miami,

The best thing I did was leave this city its nothing to do boring, I live in Hallandale Beach which is next Miami and Hollywood Beach the night life is amazing and its always some were to go and enjoy yourself.

Long history of potentially poisonous municipal water. Many radioactive - cancer, dementia causing elements, toxins and poisons they just quit testing for and naming many of them. Total dissolved solids off the charts. Recently has had hexavalent chromium, molybdenum, strontium, vanadium that slowly killed so many. They put Cr(VI) and many others on unregulated list and stopped testing for it and many of the other poisons (aluminum=alzheimer's), arsenic, etc in the water that they do name or test for anymore DRINK/BATHE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Latest big business in area is dialysis and cancer centers. Shame because there's so much $$ in area and they won't provide safe water..

Top reason, the jerks who’ve relocated here. Naples used to be a friendly community but no longer. The people who have relocated here from the NE, Midwest and other regions have really affected the attitude around here. These people can’t drive and have some bad attitudes.

bro this place sucks unless youre a white elder who praises trump. swfl is filled with old people. also the bugs, mixed with the heat and humididty is unbearable. the schools are so bad. property is wayyy to expensive. youd be betweer off living in the mariana fucking trench

My grandparents have lived in port charlotte for a little over 15 years now and it’s built up so much, but I always thought the area was endearing. And lol you are right about all the critters; I’m from northern Illinois, so seeing wild bobcats, snakes, lizards, turtles and all the aquatic life was amazing as it’s so diverse! I really do appreciate that about the golf coast area :,)

I am going back this summer to visit my after 2 years, I grew up over there. It was a very nice town, and Perkins on lord you do not see them out where I live in Virginia now

Moved to Port Charlotte in 97 spent my whole childhood there. Live in Fort Myers area now. Spent so much time out in the woods I still love port charlotte. But it has changed alot. Has gotten alot bigger.
