It is amazing how many people know nothing about "The Ridge." Highway 17 (Scenic Highway) is the best way to travel through the area by car. You will think you're in another state with some of the elevation changes. There are some great views between Lk. Wales and Frostproof.

the excursion is called Stingray Adventures. I do not remember the cost but it I do remember the cost being reasonable.

Depends where you are driving from. From I-95 exit to I-395 east which becomes MacArthur Causeway. Once you go over the bridge you will see the sign for the cruise terminals, which is actually a tunnel.

I prefer Tampa over Orlando. There are too many tourists in Orlando and the traffic in Orlando is horrible.

With so many new development happening in Florida, you won’t see beautiful landscaping and large trees in a community in Florida similar to what you would see in Coral Gables.

@@ljpll575 agree. You gotta buy old. Some places have done an amazing job. Weston for example but so many of these new communities look like box after box after box w no shading and narrow streets where you can’t even park cars

Much better than Orlando. When people complain I tell them they need to visit other cities around the country as Tampa's traffic is not as bad as most cities it's size. Heck it's better than a lot of smaller cities.

Tampa has more concentrated city streets over highways and tolls, places like Orlando and Atlanta has focused on highways and toll roads over traditional city roadways hence everyone who lives in those cities and the surrounding area have very little choice but to jam pack on to the few main highways and toll roads creating endless bottlenecks. In Tampa traffic slows but still flows because for every destination there are upwards to 5+ back streets you can take to get to the same place 💯

Don’t listen to them. That’s people who not from here & don’t know what they talking about. Tampa traffic is HORRIBLE! We have more people than Orlando, we have more traffic than Orlando. we the fasted metro growing city, please WE ARE FULL! After Miami.
