    Thanks for the video. I use the 65 mm on my GFX100s and also the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 85mm f/1.2 Lens for Fujifilm G, which I probably prefer. I reckon the new 80mm f1.6 is lighter but it's kinda odd they released such a similar lens to what already existed.

    The idea of friction between seei g and shooting told ar 3:50 isn’t really what I agree on. Take old ambrotypenplate cameras or large format or even the slower digital medium format cameras. I couldn’t have taken images with my hasselblad digital X series camera in another way. In that sense this answer is unique.

    I despise all the great comments you have because I do think your photos are pretty good, but they’re pretty boring. These portraits don’t invoke any type of feeling or make me want to invest in that camera or the lens. Good editing work as well

    Now, Fujifilm India has revealed the price of x100vi in India and it's too high. On paper it say's 1600 US dollars - And that does not translate to ~1.35 Lakhs but 1.8 Lakhs (i.e; ~45K more) . With this pricing, seriously, it does not make any sense at all. X100v initially was just 1.2 Lakhs . X100vi's 33% hike in pricing is just odd. I'm very much decided now, not to go for it. I rather will increase budget a little and get some compact full frame - That's a wise decision.

I have now seen portrait shoots done with these cameras. Wedding photographers also use them. They really are that good.

    • @EddyMaynard
      @EddyMaynard 29 днів тому

      @@moesdeph whatever you want. I use auto up to 6400 most of the time yeah. The only thing that will affect the recipe is if it’s set manually below 640, since the camera needs 640 minimum for maximum dynamic range. Setting it at a value lower than that will reduce the dynamic range and make the DRp mode less effective

    fantastic lens... but I notice more compresion is equal to less "medium format look" effect.... so adding a bit of that compresion (comparing to the 65mm) with a longer focal lens is not the proper thing to do to differentiate from full frame... Im totally agree. GFX needs a 50 or 45mm 1.something by mitakon. People don't love 65mm for the boookehZZZZZ, but for that tiny area in focus in a relatively "wide" focal lens
