Need a better top on bottle flip to open and close or pull open and close. Having to remove cap and srew back on pain in neck placed it on car without top next thing you know hitting ground wax all over. also flip top would control amount of product on applicator

first make sure your cloth is damp do a section and then wipe it off and move to next section DO NOT do the entire car and then come back and wipe it off, you will be exhausted.

NuFinish is one very EVIL product on the market once it gets on your outside black trim. After 3 years on my $74,000 truck I still have white swirls that CAN NOT be removed from my black trim, but can be temporarily covered up by coating with various trim products. I read that the reason why this product is destuctive is that it is a chemical reaction on the plastic that destroys it that Nu Finish uses. My trim is severely damaged and have used every imaginable method available as mentioned in this thread including the NuFinish solution of minerals....and the white destruction never ever goes away. ONLY will some company representative or like minded shill pretend they have the "magical" solution to bring your trim back to factory apperarances. They have money at stake. DO NOT buy this destructive coating to use on your trim and that means accidently getting some on your trim. By the way...I live in Canada and not Australia and we have this product here. Same evil/destructive consequences of getting NuFinish on your outside trim.

Oh yeah? Try comparing this with fusso coat and this product will be nowhere near it.

I use Magic Eraser it's still left a discoloration but it's better than using some liquid that is not as controllable by there who's got mineral spirits laying around the house try the Magic Eraser and rinse it a couple times I use a little water squirt bottle

With this stuff I do not swirl no circular motion , it works best with straight up and down or side to side. Seriously. Try it. It comes off easier and no circular marks left . Try it

I am no chemist, hydro-engineer, or an expert on automotive paint coatings, but I think it is better if the water flows off the car in sheets, rather than have it hang around in small beads and wait for it to evaporate. Yes, I am old enough to remember the 52 carwashes adverts from the 1980's and even as a kid, I thought these claims were garbage and a bad idea. I am also old enough to have owned the same car for 18 years and the paint and clearcoat still look great, despite NEVER having used Nu-Finish or any self-applied automotive wax or coating.

06 TL, paid 15$ for the bottle and it can’t seem to remove minor scratches caused by a car wash brush 🖌. My car was kinda hot sitting in the sun, gonna try it at night and if it doesn’t work I’ll just return the bottle

I just used this on a 2020 Trax. Pain is smooth and shiny. Black plastic trim on the other hand...... Gonna try the eraser trick. Not worth the hassle. I've used about ten different waxes and polishes, and never had to sweat (literally) cleaning up white "stains".

I used it on Saturday just gone. It come up like a show room car and the water just beads off it

How much nufinish are you supposed to use? About half a bottle for the whole car or 1 full bottle?

Works well . Easy to put on and take off . Hasn't lasted 52 washes though lol

My grandma had makeup all over the door pillar trim, I tried everything and absolutely nothing nothing worked. NU finish took it out like butter.

Do we need to wash the car before applying?

Nu finish actually has a petroleum base so it really needs no wax to repel water ..it really depends upon the climate you live in as to the results you will get using this product..if you live in say Texas than it should protect the paint from sun fade for a little while but I wouldn't go more than 6 months without reapplying..the same with NY..vehicles in NY get very dirty fast so you have to keep washing it ..those extra washes will wead the nu finish protection off so again I would not go more than 6 month before reapplying after the vehicle has been throughly cleaned and clay bared.

I used dri wash n guard and the next day, I had bad Water spots. Does nu finish keep rain spots away?

I have a 2017 RAM Cummins and Ive used this polish once and its up to 5yrs now and it still looks good! I am about to do another coat of it.

Advice: While applying the product, don’t use circular motions. Instead, apply in vertical/horizontal motion. One panel at a time. This will diminish swirl marks. It is a great product when used correctly. Its way better than carnuba waxes and I apply it after 5-7 full washes (30+ days). Specially after every clay bar once a month. Easy extra step and paint will shine like new.

I USED IT ON A BLACK car 18 MONTHS AGO AND IT LEFT 100S OF SMALL TINY DOTS OF THE FINNISH ALL OVER THE CAR. Why has it done this and how can i remove them easily, my car has had several washes since then and i cant remove them ??? WHY I have to scratch them off with my finger nails THIS IS A BLACK CAR

How hasn't Nufinish been sued yet? Lasts a year= maybe in a garage and never driven. Lasts 52 auto car washes= right about 3 washes, and for goodness sake put a proper cap on the bottle, even this guy put way to much on the second layer. 🙄
