Amazon elves are like bargain discount potato elves

Rings of Power is a remarkable upgrade compared to the old movies. I recon that nowadays re-watching LoTR trilogy or Hobbits would be like trying to enjoy 1995's Warcraft 2 after playing some Warcraft III: Reforged.

I still remember the first time I saw Galadriel in the movies. she was terrifying, I thought, is she good, is she bad? I can't tell what's going in her head, that face was un-human to me, which obviously was the point of tolkien and jackson. and damn her presence was something else. she didn't need to put a blade on someone's throat to shew her strength and power. and I loved her. RoP's Galadriel is not her. she can never be her.

Saw someone comment on another video that they got rid of the divine nature to the elves, and just made them humans with pointy ears.

The RoP version looks so bad, then when I saw the thumbnail for this video I was like "Why are they saying Amazon made the 17 year old video game Lord of the Rings Online?" Just to clarify, not hating on LOTRO, just saying the graphics are dated. That said, the game still looks way better than the CG from RoP.

Rings of Power is such a disappointment. No way they can recover from season 1. Starting fresh with new show runners would’ve been a better decision. Can’t wait to see how they ruin Tom Bombadil 🤦‍♂️

The entire second season of the Rings of Power is going to be directed by women. Peter Jackson is gonna be throwing a can of soda at his TV. Those women are going to create or have created an abomination of film using the Lord of The Rings.

If you wanted to be represented, you could of just played a human. There was no need to make every race as colorful as skittles.
