@@TheStarterM you're welcome!
thanks bro! i wonder how i use mesh/ies light on cosmos 3d assets. its seems not working. because when i use on the outside cosmos 3d assets its working like usual
You'll have to merge the asset into your project, it'll then be like a regular component on your workspace
@@ikrenders ah i see thank you !!!
Hi, I just started learning how to render in sketchup with Vray. but my problem is my interactive render is always dark.. i have tried setting it, but it is not working. I'm using a GTX 1650 graphics card laptop.
Hi there! The reason that happens is because the interactive rendering is fixed to use the "brute force" setting in global illumination opposed to production rendering that uses the "light cache" option. You can fix this by either increasing your exposure values in the frame buffer or increasing your lights intensity for more visibility. I hope this helps! Cheers
Hi, Thanks a lot for the Tutorial. I'm Using the newest version of VRAY 6.20.01 and under the global illumination settings there is no option for Photo mapped caustics, what is the alternative, please?
Hey Gideon, you're welcome. I'm still using version 6.10. It may be there, but for CPU rendering not GPU, vray sometimes doesn't allow sole settings for GPU rendering Try to switch to CPU rendering and check if its there. I'll soon join you on the latest version 😉. Cheers!
@@ikrenders ok thanks I think I found it but with a different name 'Caustics' and similar settings
Awesome sir

Sure thing bro. This December new videos would roll out once I'm free from my project😄🙏🏽
hello, why can't i see the IES Light added to the interactive rendering?
Hi! A common solution for that problem would be to increase your IES light strength to the range of 5000 and above, or increase it in your light mix. I hope this helps you🙏🏽
This was really great and helpful 🙌
Glad to hear this bro! Thank you!🤞🏾🤗
To get the recess what tool can you use Because I see touching it and get recessed immediately
I used the push pull tool, if you use it once, the next time you can just double click the face and the previous push/pull measurement made woul be repeated on that face
Thank you that's awesome

Displacement doesn't seem to work in Vray5.2, it says it's legacy and it isn't able to put a preview, and also it is required to use some displacement geometry modifier... so i can't make pool water even close to photorealistic.
Hi! Displacement works in vray 5.2. The trick is to apply it to a group and also re render the frame buffer for up to date effects
Thank you so much 👍
You're welcome 🌟👍🏽. I'm glad it helped you!
how to fix failed to create proxy. Check the ruby console for debug output
