Harry & Tham follow their hearts
Follow us online and get to know us up close and personal. We’ll give you a real live insight into our Bonaire island life, our charity work, our businesses & Brands, and other activities and life in general.
Tham is ‘Chef Tham’ and the proud owner of a very busy and successful food truck Called Cactus Blue Bonaire (also known as the Lionfish Truck). Harry is performing on stage every week as “TAFKAH” (an acronym for The Artist Known As Harry) and operates his sound rental operation Fit Sound Rental on Bonaire.
Many people tell us they are dreaming of a life as we live it. Maybe they are not able to take the steps or they think they can’t. We just want to give a very realistic insight into our life to also show that nothing is impossible (within reason) yet every choice comes with its own consequences. Question is: are you willing to take the chance and follow your heart?

Bali Spectacular Dirtbiking Enduro in the Jungle - with Ubud Dirtbike Tours (Tour #3)
I’ve always loved mountain biking and technical trails at that. Also, I’ve been riding motorcycles most of my life. But dirt-biking, not really. Then while on vacation in Ubud (Bali) I saw a poster that drew my attention. It was from ‘Ubud Dirtbike Tours’ and I was immediately interested.
After having some friendly and informative WhatsApp contact with them, I decided to do a tour with them… TWICE. They provided all the necessary clothing, safety gear, and a good bike.
The first & second tours I did with them were nothing short of unbelievably awesome! So I decided to do another tour with them (my 3rd). All tours are different, and the places where you will ride are challenging, ever-changing, and mostly breathtakingly beautiful. Some of the views in the middle of nowhere are stunning.
Since this 3rd tour was brand new and had never been ridden with guests, I was the first to ride it with them. Actually, it was so new, that it (maybe ;-) was not 100% clear how the route was sometimes, which made it even more fun for me being there with the local guide (a pro-crosser named Koming) and my contact from Ubud Dirtbike Tours, Dodon.
If you like some action & adrenaline, and you like to stretch your limits and try a completely exhilarating new experience, then I highly recommend you call these guys when you're in Bali. I cannot recommend it enough!

Bali - Ubud & Wonderful Hikes in the rice fields
Переглядів 654 місяці тому
After having a great time on Nusa Penida, we took the Fast boat back to Sanur Port and a Grab taxi to drive us to Ubud. We loved it there in 2023 and we still loved it in 2024!This time we stayed at the Honeymoon Guesthouse on Jalan Bisma. It is a beautiful place and a perfect location. On the first day, we did the ‘Sari Organic Walk’. A wonderful walk between stunningly beautiful rice fields. ...

Nusa Penida Island (next to Bali, Indonesia)

It’s time to explore the big island of Nusa Penida (next to Bali, Indonesia). Coming from Nusa Lembongan in the morning, taking the boat during low tide. That was quite a trip, with the crew pushing the boat into deeper waters before they could use their outboards. After the crossing - when we finally reached Nusa Penida - we hit a rock on our way in because of the same low tide. The crew was n...
Bali: Sanur, Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan

We made it to Bali for the last couple weeks of our trip and first spent 2 nights in Sanur Duyung Home Stay. A great stay in a perfect spot. It’s only a 2-minute walk to the beach, to good food & company, and great vibes. We especially liked the Lilla Pantai restaurant for breakfast! After chilling for 2 days we made our way to Nusa Lembongan. You can reach the island in a 30-ish minute fast bo...
Malaysia - Langkawi disappointment 🫣
Переглядів 2274 місяці тому
The plan was: time to relax, chill on the beach & some ‘sun time’! That didn’t happen… Sadly, we had lots of rain during our stay in Langkawi. It’s the rainy season and we had lots of it. On and off. Luckily we had 1 sunny morning and rented a scooter to explore the island. During this trip, it started raining again. Langkawi is a beautiful place and also very nice to be with great people but… ...
Malaysia - Staying Fit while travelling

Even though we are very active and eat pretty healthy when underway, working out is still part of our routine. Maybe not as consistent as when we are at home or as often as we would like, but we still get it done regularly. Sometimes in a gym and sometimes in the open air or even next to a pool when we have it to ourselves for a little while. Still, working out at home feels different from work...
Malaysia - Things to do in Georgetown & Penang
Переглядів 3145 місяців тому
We purchased another bus ticket and took the bus from Ipoh to Penang. If you ever go there by bus, buy your ticket to Sungai Nibong instead of Penang Sentral (Butterworth), because this last station is not on the island. Otherwise, you’ll also need a ferry to get to the island. We discovered the stunning streets of Georgetown. Lots of street art and beautiful architecture, and of course we enjo...
Malaysia - Ipoh - our impression (August 2024)

In Ipoh, we stayed in a great guesthouse Ninety Guest House and Coffee Bar. Perfect room, super friendly staff, great food, good neighborhood, and nice atmosphere. Besides all the food tasting, we visited the Sam Poh Tong temple, the biggest cave temple in Malaysia. The temple features an array of majestic Buddha statues and has a beautiful garden. Next door is The Perak Tong Cave Temple, that ...
Malaysia - Cameron Highlands & Tanah Rata

Next stop: Tanah Rata in the middle of the Cameron Highlands. After a little walk around town, it was time for Indian Food at Sri Brinchang Restoran. That was quite a treat for our hungry bellies 😋. After a good night’s rest, we decided to go for a hike and chose jungle trail #10. The first portion of the trail is steep uphill and the trees’ roots provide a natural staircase up the mountainside...

Singapore for 3 days & nights

During our Malaysia Backpacking journey, Thamara & I did a VISA-RUN via Singapore which we both had not been to before. We decided to spend 3 days & nights in the City. The English name Singapore comes from the Malay name Singapura which is believed to have been derived from Sanskrit meaning "Lion City". After checking in at the Hotel which was located perfectly, we walked around town until lat...

During our Malaysia trip, Tham & I did a VISA-RUN via Singapore which we both had not been to before, and therefore we decided to spend 3 days in the City. Being Dutch (even though we live in the Caribbean now) we still know how to ride a bicycle, and what better way to get to discover a City than on a bike, right? We did a Historical Singapore Bike Tour with ‘Let’s Go Tour Singapore’ and our g...
