Why did you leave out the selection of which paper tray to feed from?

Canon will auto use rear tray for photo print. Hence, I usually leave it as automatic.

I found the very minimal controls, LCD, and menu choices to be barely adequate, confusing, and not intuitive at all. On the box there is a prominent WiFi emblem, which is misleading because you can't actually pair it with a desktop. It doesn't connect to real wifi. You get a misleading direction to "Follow instructions on PC or smartphone" when you attempt to set up "wifi" which is really only pairing with a phone as a hotspot using a Canon app. There is no PC involved at all. There are no "instructions on PC" to go to. The written manual sends you in circles and off a cliff with that one. There's no reason at all that they couldn't have included a wifi option in the PC driver software. But for PC/desktop you have to use the USB cord, which is an all but useless only 3 feet long (WTF) so if you want the printer all the way left or right of your desk, or even just a full sized desk, you have to buy a longer cord. Canon used to supply nice long USB cords with their printers. I don't think the average person is going to spend $300 on a printer with hi res scanner to print selfies from a phone. I can't for the life of me figure why Canon would pair this with phone apps and not allow WiFi pairing with desktop. The company has deteriorated radically in my opinion. Also, my existing Canon printer utility does not recognize this printer for head cleaning and test prints etc. WTF again. and you can't access those functions from the settings in the printer app window as you could with EVERY other Canon printer prior to its current models. The "settings" on the printer window only shows ink levels. In the end, functionally, it's a good printer/scanner, but almost isn't worth all the headaches and really stupid annoyances. I wrote some pretty terse emails to the Thailand Canon rep, with screen shots and photos to back me up. I just told them to pass them on to the relevant responsible parties.

I totally agree on the minimal control on the printer itself. I had a few issues especially connecting it to wifi using the printer's screen itself. But so far after connecting to my mobile directly, I am able to connect my laptop to the printer.
For what I know is that this printer allows you to replace the printhead when it is worn off without sending it to the service centre. As such, I think there isn't any print head cleaning function. Please see my additional clip here. ua-cam.com/video/D2huSOaZAC8/v-deo.html
You can see the Test Print option is available.

I’ve just managed to get this right. Here’s how you connect using the printer’s buttons but it’s quite time consuming. Here’s a clip ua-cam.com/video/_1FcLg99F68/v-deo.html. Hope it helps.

I am using older canon printer many years ago models and it have a print head cleaning function. Does this G6070 have print head cleaning in the software? Would you be able to print a document from laptop wirelessly to the printer? (laptop able to access internet wirelessly through wifi router) (laptop and printer not connected with any wire) I am considering buying G6070.
