Worked with a guy once that was unironically like that. The boss managed to keep him away from alcohol for an entire shift one day (The boss had been trying for months but the guy always managed to sneak multiple cans in) That day, his chill personality went away, then he started to shake, then he got angry at pretty much everything, then he started falling down. The boss called the 911 and the paramedics said to give him a beer. They came and got him shortly after. My 17 year old ass was shocked to learn that the police had a policy that applied to this guy and like two others in the county that whenever they were arrested, they would be given small amounts of alcohol in the cell because the withdrawals could be fatal otherwise. I heard a couple years ago that he died of alcohol poisoning. What a world.
@@lhdz226 Well, an alcoholic that gets the job done beats a job left undone I guess. That, and honestly the guy didn't seem drunk. We all thought he was just sneaking a couple in throughout the day till after the incident. He walked, talked, drove, worked and even caught things totally normal while drunk. But utterly fell apart when he lost the alcohol. It was weird man.
