Just came across this light. As far as Sofirns, it is one of the lowest rated on Amazon and is listed as 'frequently returned '. Sounds neat, but I am skeptical.

That light actually compares closer to the sofirn if19. The if19 has a distance I believe of over 400 meters but is definitely a much closer build to the hosonic ec12

I appreciate the video but any flashlight made to be called a "THROWER" with an sft40 & a TIR lens only claiming to throw a little over 200 meters in my eyes is an epic fail. I also have the wurkkos ts11 (orange like yours) and it's range is over 600 meters. I bought the Mateminco A1s for $20 throws 711 meters. I have sst40 flashlights with crenulated reflectors that throw 200 + meters so I just have a hard time understanding how this company puts this light on the market calling it a "THROWER". It should be but I feel as though they did something wrong. They should easily be getting twice the distance out of that light. 1500 lumens is plenty of power to throw that beam further. Aside of that I love the build I love the look and the video was great I appreciate your presentation.

I wish it came with more bits. There's a D1 which is smaller but has the same amount of bits.

Can you tell me if it's possible to activate the strobe on this light using the remote switch?

You need to get a perun mini homie It's the pinnacle of Olight headlamps I have an orange and a black perun 3 and haven't bothered to open them yet. I've had a few of perun 2 and it's just too heavy to wear on my head. I keep it stuck to my refrigerator and it's a great outside light. I'm assuming that perun 3 will be even better.

Looks like a decent light. Tail standing and a reversible pocket clip would give it more functionality. Also wish the usb port was on the battery and not on the light. Ports can fail and it would be better on the consumable item(the battery) and not the light, should the port decide to fail.

You can carry it bezel down like it is. I like the fact that the bulkiness of the pocket clip won't be outside the pocket. The pocket clip is perfect for bezel down carry! I wouldn't have just bought it if it wasn't. haha

I really like mine and I hope they come out with the same thing in an 18650 version. I do wish the momentary strobe could be switched to low.

I have had this for a couple of weeks now. Quite enjoying it, do not know why half the s/n was removed. One shipper said they would remove s/n, so chose to pay $10 more from another shipper and they also removed s/n. Fenix has been good performers for me. Constant shortfall is no tail standing. Do like dual tail switches. Thanks for review.

I couldn’t figure out how to shut it off. I shut it off last night but I didn’t remember how. I guess I’m a bit impatient and didn’t wait 2 seconds for it to go off. Thanks for your video. I’ll have to try the music next.

Strobe seems only effective when used with overwhelming power. I'd consider this to around 2500+ lumems and I'd rather not have this feature at all on any light less than 1500lumens.

I got this one with the new arkfield ultra

The light has memory mode and even strobe lock. If you hold the side button down and activate strobe, then power the light off and back on again it's in instant strobe.

This little thing is awesome. Kids have been playing with it non-stop. I'm gonna have to buy a few more cause they're fighting over the thing. Makes a cool nighttime pool toy and my youngest daughter has claimed it as her personal bedtime nightlight.

I will never understand why companies keep lying to the people about free when we pay for the Shipping and handling. No matter how you call it, 5.00 shipping is not free. I get it, it's a good deal for 5.00. not free though.

600 to 3000 lumens is a huge gap. 1000 to 3000 would be better means you wouldn't really need turbo all that often. Plus, the holder on the headband being metal is silly. I look after my stuff but very review I have seen shows the torch is scratching up badly...

Great beam in a nice, small form factor. Proprietary battery is a deal-breaker. No thanks.

I have the Perun 2 and use it on my EMS chest pack for work with some Molle electric loops. The headlamp attachment with silicone strap stretches out VERY fast resulting in dropping and potentially breaking or losing your light. I’ll take scratches from a metal clip over losing my light all together.

If you are serious about your EDC, and serious about quality light choices, you will never go wrong with an Olight. I have a ton of them, and they are unequaled in quality build, fit, and finish. I would argue that their UI is the best available. Single-click to turn on, press and hold to cycle between low/medium/high, double-click for turbo, triple-click for strobe. EZPZ. Other brands get so convoluted with their UI, but Olight is always simple and reliable. I've been carrying the Arkfeld Pro as my EDC light since it came out, and it is my favorite torch of all time. I ordered the Arkfeld Ultra and the Perun 3 (with the free Sphere when ordered through the app for Silver+ members), and I can't wait to use the Ultra as my EDC and the Perun 3 headlamp as my evening dog-walking carry. I know some folks find Olight products "expensive," but they really aren't considering the extremely high quality and long life, and the phenomenal customer service (I bought the Javelot when it came out, and the one I got had some charging issues likely due to a faulty battery. They sent me a full replacement Javelot+battery, and let me keep the "faulty" device, which works just fine after buying a new battery for it).

Honestly is the wurkkos ts12 the same or more powerful than the new baton turbo? I'm a big wurkkos fan and a big olight fan. I own a few ts12's and have a baton turbo on the way but i would love to know others opinion. Idk why no one mentions the ts12 in tje baton turbo reviews 🤔 but one channel put the baton turbo against the ts11 wich isn't the same. Both ts12 and baton turbo run a sft-25r emitter and have smooth polished lenses.

We need to see a comparison between the Baton turbo sft-25r vs. The wurkkos ts12 sft-25r! They both have smooth polished reflectors and all. One's a 14500 and the other is a 18350. Both batteries similar in performance .
