Yes indeed My Terry, some people do not believe it at all, but, the moon is one of the most powerful forces on the planet. So to hunt by it, is too gain by it. Now certain times are better and other times not as good. But the full and new moon are best. The moon light at night can even cause a lady not to concieve a child. So keep those ladies heads out of the moon light during the night if trying for a family. I am a firm believer in the moon. It explains why days nothing and other days mega finds in the same area. Moon phase is the only logical explanation.

you have to lie on the beach to find it, because when we see how you scan with your detector you must miss a lot of targets.

I keep hearing all this nonsense back and forth no one has any clear definitive answers about the laws of metal detecting in the water in Florida whether it's against the law or not.ive never had a yone say anything to me except in west palm beach on singer island more specifically it was right in front of a hotel a guy came out and said that there was some wreck diving going on somewhere around there and because of that you're not able to go into the water I think the guy was bullshtting me

Great advice. Most people swing too fast and want to cover as much ground as they can. Some days its just one spot that turns up the days haul. When you are digging targets they will tell you a lot of information if you know how to read it.

I wish I lived in Florida. I would detect every single day and find as many rings as you have.

You are absolutely correct about the sinkers I hit a area where we were finding lead sinkers two gold rings came out of the same area

You should crate a pic site of all the finds....and where you found them.....I'd bet more then a few folks would fund you just to have a chance at getting a ring back.

Excellent Video and Black sand is always a good place to look. My Vanquish 540 works rather well there. I live in Avon Park Central Florida, so I do have occasional chances to go to the treasure coast. Still looking for a good hunting buddy to overlap with.
