The western thought process lacks the competency to understand the ancient Indian texts any attempt to analyse Indian Scriptures is likely to be an imposition of Abrahamic religious view. Please leave it to us Oxford Union your country has done enough damage to Indian Systems and Scriptures
Reality isn't bound to any Specific Tradition or Region. Your phone is made up of the concepts of Science which were discovered in Europe & USA. India excelled in Science too so why can't the West discuss Indian Scriptures??
Thank you very much for this film. It's beautiful through and through.

Thank you so much, this documentary is Vaikuntha itself, everyone who spoke or was filmed were all original devotees of lord krishna , iam so grat3ful right now , eyes red with overflowing teardrops. I went totally ecstatic when the cutie baby girl recited the bagavatm in flawless Sanskrit. Hare krishna to infinity. The Absolute Truth. 🙏♨
I agree, the movie itself is like a touch of Krishna, Himself, while editing can't tell you enough how much tears overflowed...
❤Beautiful presentstion of Sanatana Dharma (Hindu religion) through Bhagavata Purana!❤
Excellent documentary.
I love Hinduism much more than western Abrahamic, religions because unlike with them Hinduism does not endorse and give rules for slavery nor does it think God made a mistake in giving the glans protection like Jews and Islam does so they demand it be mutilated off all male children.
you do know that according the caste system in Hinduism, some people are better than others based on their caste. The lower class is considered of lower status than a slave. Women are considered impure and are considered not equal to men and burned alive with her husband. There is so much more bullshit in it. Let's be honest fr. Although i am not denying the deep and beautiful philosophical concept of hinduism, but i am not buying into what you are claiming it to be.
@@wali9378 unfortunately as time passes even great kingdoms come to ruins and sanatan(hinduism) is the oldest religion so as time passed biases and cast system were also came into existence. Previosly cast didnt exit it was based on the work the people do but it got converted into cast depending on the work the people do and the children continue their parents work. The 'Sati' you mention was practiced because when bharath was invaded the queens of defeated kingdoms were raped even when they died, so to protect their dignity they voluntered for 'sati' and the thing common people also followed it was because at that time for a long period of invasion it unfortunatly became a practice. So we should not assume that this religion is not right no human being is perfect. In hindu culture women are treated as gods and equality is main thing if you have heard the slogan 'JAI SRI RAM' it refers glory to sri (also as feminine) - means seetha and after wards ram is spoken. if i want i can continue as there is so much culture and tradition and i am still enjoy learning about our history and culture. Then again no one is perfect even if humans are give heaven they can convert it into hell.
@@prajwalmuralis2101 Agree with you, It was later on added into the religion by clerics or whatever were the circumstances, but anyway it is considered part of the religion isn't it? I am not sure whether it is proscribed in the scriptures or it's just hindus ignorance towards their own scriptures. My point, in response to the first comment, basically was that all religions promote peace and harmony and are beautiful atleast in their true form(which there isn't any left in their original form except for Islam which too is corrupted by people but atleast they have the original uncorrupted sources). So before criticizing abrahamic religions, first have an honest overview of your own religion. You will find all the bad things in your own religion which you are criticizing.First check whether that thing is actually part of that religion or it's a false stereotype.
@@wali9378 it's perfectly fine to critically analyse other religous traditions and prefer others. Genital cutting is an intrinsic part of those religions. Hinduism doesn't have fixed traditions, it's an exonym applied to a large set of religious, ethnic, culutral and political traditions. The phenomenon of burning women really has nothing to do with vedic religion. Caste and creed have nothing to do with vedic spirituality and were only ever used to describe different classes in society falling into four groups which can easily been seen in all human societies. Contrast that with the reputed thousands of castes in india today and the existence of dalits which doesn't exist at all in varnashram. Certainly India has suffered under over 1000 years of colonial rule, invasions, and genocides. It's so resilient but I think especially in the north you get a lot of these negative social behaviours. A lot of it is shame based and defensive, probably as they bore the brunt of many invsions and war crimes. I hope that they can ultimately heal and flourish as a society again.
Beautiful!!! 😘 💃🍀🐐🦁👑🐍🔱🪬❤️🔥🤗🙀 Approved!
Dr. Nandita is the right person to hold forth on Bhagavata Purana and Lord Krishna. She is the great grand daughter of C.P. Ramaswamy Aiyar and a descendant of the the 16 century philosopher and Advaitin Appayya Dikshita. It was my good fortune to be a student of CPR Aiyar when he was the vice chancellor of Annamalai University , Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, in the early Sixties. CPR Aiyar's lectures were inspiring, thought-provoking. Little wonder Dr. Nandita is equally eloquent, reminiscent of her illustrious mane.

Thank you so much for your sincere and kind comment.
Dear Inci, dear soul to write a few words is easy but to do what you have done is the real manifestation of love. To move from cheap words or ideas into action that really touches, influences and helps conditioned souls is the greatest service and greatest example for all conscious beings. Thank you Thank you dear Inci for manifesting your love for us and God, Krsna. Hare Krsna :)

iti - and so on - SB 1.15.18 but judging by the context of the verse 1:2:11 iti - as - CC Adi 4.163 is more likely. the Learned who know this reality call this nondual consciousness as Brahman, as Paramātmā and as Bhagavān.
the reason the advaya tattva is thrice named is because of three paths of approach. the path of jnan, karma and bhakti, but though the approach is different the destination is ONE. As the Bhagavatam clearly states, this reality-tattvam is nondual-advayam knowledge-jnanam, so therefore we cannot divide it into three. the ONE is call different according to the paths of approach, that is the purpot of the verse 1:2:11 as confirmed in verse 3:32:33 yathendriyaiḥ pṛthag-dvārair artho bahu-guṇāśrayaḥ eko nāneyate tadvad bhagavān śāstra-vartmabhiḥ "as by the different doors of the senses (dvara means door, dvaraih is instrumental, meaning by or with the doors) an object is the base (ashraya) of many qualities, similarly one God is indicated differently by the different paths of the scriptures." vartma means way, course, road and path, vartmabhih is the instrumental declension meaning by or with. So this verse is saying if you perceive an object, like for example water, from the perspective of the eyesight, it seems as clear and reflective, but through touch it seems wet and cool, but from the tongue it has sweet taste, but it is the same ONE thing, similarly from the perspective of the different paths prescribed by the scriptures one God is indicated in different ways.

Puruna is actually a slavic god by the name Perun. And sanskrit is an old Russian dialect still spoken in some places in Siberia. Sanskrit vs. Russian: etat (this)=etat tat (that)=tot vam (your)=vam kada (when)=kagda matr (mother)=mat, matri bhratr(brother)=brat sheeva(organism)=shiva(alive) sthana (region)=strana agni (god of fire) =agni (fires) moksha = mokosh Lada= Lada Baghavan= Bogh Svet (bright) = svet (bright, light) sama(self)=sama asthi (bones)=kosthi sneha (snow)=snega dhuma (smoke)=dhim ukshana(Ox)=Oxanna(name) vrk(wolf)=volk madhu(honey)=med sharkara(sugar)=sahara dvaara (door)=dver smayate (laughing)=smiyat mriyate (to die) umriyet plavate (to swim)=plavat deti (children)=deti only a small selection of over 1000 similarities. Considering the fact how much modern Russian has changed till today this is astonishing.
Antun Mihanović when working on the Latin-Greek-Sanskrit dictionary for the Vatican found over 3000 words with identical roots no one mentions this, but it's interesting that second in other Manu who taught mankind how to make clothes was called Swarochisha Manu just like the old Slavic pagan god Svarožić unfortunately by baptizing the population it was all declared a heresy
You’re have such an ignorant colonial mindset. It was THEM who gave us linguistics and religion. Even the Greeks took words from them and you claim India is derived from Russia? That’s the dumbest thing i heard

During a number of sessions, I had the privilege of watching the entire "India's Book of Wisdom: The Bhagavata Purana." The genre is that of an art film - mood and style reveal substance. The "culture of the Bhagavatam" is the hero of this story. We get bits and pieces of it , particularly dance, art, and music, throughout the movie. Philosophy mostly sits in the background while sentiments of bhakti take center stage. The approach of the female director is studied, deliberate, methodical, and revelatory - a gentle, feminine touch that is both confident and reassuring. There are no attempts at dramatic punctuations or three act structures. This is a path of discovery for both the host and audience. There is not much pretense in Krishna Ksetra Swami's role as the inquiring host. His humble nature immediately puts the viewer at ease, and he is a credible ally in a mutual journey despite the fact that we know that he knows where this is all going. Actually, I wasn't sure at times where the wandering was leading. It picks up speed as it proceeds and finally crescendos in the final twenty minutes to a predictable, yet satisfying, conclusion. We get the transcendental logic in bits and pieces which complete the puzzle as the theme progresses. Krishna is seen increasingly as the source of the light of the Bhagavat - as it should be. What binds this patchwork of cultural mileux's together is a superb score by Kai Engel. He provides the waves upon which we undulate and move toward the shore. The director, Inci Mutlu, has obviously understood not only the profundity of the Srimad Bhagavatam, but it's potential to liberate the soul. Main cinematographer, Filip Gour, has a sensitive and creative eye that takes its time to ponder, reflect, and contemplate. The entire presentation is a meditation that can elevate and inspire. Thanks to all involved; they should be very gratified with the result. YS, Nrsimhananda das
Thank you, Nrsimhananda das. Knowing of your own professional involvement in filmmaking, we cherish your encouraging words, based on attentive engagement with the film.
