Underrated channel, keep up the great work! Btw will you do buoyancy or trails for boats too? I saw a lot of ppl asking for it on other youtube channel
Thank you. I'm interested in buoyancy, but I've not tried it, if I ever do ill make a tutorial on it.
This is brilliant and just inspired me to add a really cool transition from idle screen to main gameplay in my game. Thank you!
Does this still work in Godot 4.3? It crashes on me
Check the latest releases on GitHub and if there is one for 4.3 it should work.
In blender, aside from focusing on an object, you can focus on a point. Is there an equivalent in godot?
Question how do you do that in blender? I haven't heard of that feature in Godot. But it could exist.
if anyone not getting collisions in their models, change the render mode to create copies in performance option.
Nice work bro
Is it recommended for multiplayer games? I would like to make a local co-op game, and want to add a leaderboard for each player in game
You could try it, as it should work for multiplayer as well. If you're making a local co-op game, I don't think you need an online leaderboard that should be possible to handle locally.
@@CrowGamesDev okay, thank you

0:00 Intro/Showcase 0:23 Shader Code Setup 1:33 Day Shader Setup Parameters 5:30 Night Shader Setup Parameters 7:39 Day & Night Cycle Animation 11:42 Tangent on Previous Problems 13:32 Outro btw awesome video bro! I was abit confused with, why do you need to save the day and night scene separately if at animation we ended up keying only on 1 scene? is it only for backup or testing purposes?
You don't need to, but if you experience that the sky is black, then that fixes it. Also, thanks for the timestamps!
@@CrowGamesDev your welcome bro! I see gotcha, thanks for the tutorial!
Do you think I should add timestamps to all videos? I've skipped on doing so because they are already short, and I've been lazy, but I guess it's good when there's a specific part you want to watch so you can skip to that?
@@CrowGamesDev Sorry really late reply, UA-cam doesn't send notifications without the @ tag. Timestamp is good imo, people generally watching tutorial multiple times(either bc circumstances or they also practice live little by little), so having timestamp makes viewers easy to navigate.
Great video! I'm currently developing a 3D game and experimented with your tutorial, which helped me a lot! However, I eventually decided to remove all UI from the 3D world It was very complicated for me to edit the UI, and I was planning to apply it to several objects. Do you know if there’s a different way to do this? P.S: I switched from Unity to Godot 4 months ago. I was planning to use the UI in the 3D world to show talk icons when the player is near an NPC or to display an emoji. Do you know how I could achieve this?
If you're wanting to do dialog, I've heard dialogic is good. Once you have made the 3d UI once, you could save that as its own scene and instance it on other scenes you want to use it on or simply copying and pasting it. I've not done anything related to dialog yet but hope this helps.
this helped me ALOT! tysm bro!
Glad it helped you, excited to see how you will use it in the helicopter game!
@@CrowGamesDev currently working on a HUD like interface for the heli! I'll showcase it in my next video and give a shoutout to you, man
Very nice!
So simply explained for us noobs. Ty 🙏 other channels make it seem more complex than it needs to be.
Thank you! I used to get overwhelmed by some tutorials when starting out too.
thanks hard to find tutorials on this helpfull
hey! do you mind if i use this, or parts of this sky shader code in my game?
You can use it for anything you want!
@@CrowGamesDev thank you, its very cartoony/dreamy and looks like something straight out of a dreamworks movie or game, i'll keep you updated on the thing if you'd like to see what it's being used for
@@CrowGamesDev also i have a slight issue, the clouds are pitch black on my end for some reason no matter the settings
okay, nevermind i realized its only my volumetric fog affecting the sky. i've written some new stuff into the shader that give modularity to the stars, where they can spawn, minor hue alteration and their lifetime so they can pulse like default or just stay static
That's actually Godot, not unity
Blud is tweaking 💀💀💀💀
Ai titles be going crazy

thanks
i already implement silentwolf in my 2 games, but have been thinking to move out lately, silent wolf is indeed the best free server (the owner/founder is really goat), but i`ve seen his reply on reddit about getting us pay the server if the game is using too much data ?, actually i dont have problem with that, ofcourse its a must to do, and i will be glad to pay it. But the amount is make me curios like how many people is considered huge and what the cap of data and how much we need to pay, (i dont think my game will have massive player, but it just for safety/incase, and my games is like 1-2 dollar games, i cant pay if it too expensive), what do you think ?, are you know the details ?, i`m so afraid because its not written in silent wolf site.. btw Great video
Yeah, it's the best free alternative I've not heard about them making it paid I wouldn't worry about it before it's official and even then it would only be for people using a lot of data.
That’s cool
Really good video thank you for sharing your knowledge !
My pleasure!
after i ticked the checkbox i go to other screen, when i went back to check box became unticked again how to fix it
You need to save and load your settings this video is good: ua-cam.com/video/tfqJjDw0o7Y/v-deo.htmlsi=OpvlO2JOscwU-kIl
hello how about 2d ?
Check out a 2d flashlight tutorial, and the battery part should be similar.
Thanks for the video!
the plugin doesn't show why?
Show why what?
@@CrowGamesDev I assume he asks why when searched on Godot Assetlib, it is not shown (Didn't watched video yet, or looked on godot, just assuming)
@@AsatteGames I think I showed both methods to download in the video
Ninja go
bruh
Dammm that's really cool
Nice
Cool foliage! Did you make custom procedural scene for it, or is there a plugin?
The hedges are just a cuboid shape in blender with a bevel modifier and this is how I added the leafs to them: ua-cam.com/video/tvrGcqgH2bI/v-deo.html
Finally! They added Blend file in Godot! I need that because I was struggling with FBX and GLB imports. YES!
I’m a blender animator but ur doing good keep up that work
Hi 👋, could you please post a video about ledge grabbing? ❤
I mostly just make tutorials based on stuff I've learned and then share it. I recommend looking for other tutorials on that topic if you need it now. Try searching for climbing or vault and you should find some good tutorials.
@@CrowGamesDev ok thanks ❤️🙏
thank you very much this was helfull
I'm going to use this to make hedges and bushes, many thanks 👍👍
I have a tutorial on how to make bushes here: ua-cam.com/video/tvrGcqgH2bI/v-deo.html and if you join the discord I can give you a really nice stylized leaf texture I made. :)
Super helpful, perfect timing for me, thanks 👍👍
I'm glad you found it helpful. :)
Hi 👋, could you please post a video about parallax windows or fake interiors?
I've heard of that, wasn't it a Spider-Man game that used that technique? I don't know much about it since I haven't ever used it sorry if I ever do ill make a video about it :)
@CrowGamesDev Yes, it was used in the Spider-Man 2 game. I think it helps to make the buildings look more realistic in games, thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks ❤
Hai... saya dari Indonesia. Bisakah kamu membuat tutorial tentang bagaimana membuat kondisi seakan kita sedang berjalan di dalam hutan seperti di dalam permainan pertempuran. Terima kasih
You can put "SimpleGrass.set_interactive(true)" in your player ready function instead if you want.
awesome! Thanks
That corral is reefing and blowing out little bubbles of smoke 😂
Why U use Godot 4.3 it's still beta, use Godot 4.2.2 stable version to get more views on your tutorials 👍
Future proofing lol
Perfect, I just made some textures for a 2d game and can use them in my fps game too! Thanks a lot!
Goblin detected!!!!! o7
Thing is, do NOT copy from random people that probbably put in alot of effort.
?
I believe he means you can copy from your one scene to another. Also, if the person that put the effort is fine with you taking it (CC0 like), it should not be a problem
@@AsatteGamesye
Great video man
Wow, don't really work too much with shaders, but this worked perfectly for my project!
"Activate windows" 😢
I have finally activated it xD
@@CrowGamesDev thanks
This is perfect. Thank you. I was trying to figure out how this shader was applied
Amigo, tu alcançou o Brazil, vc não sabe o quanto procurei por isso
