Hi Norman. Czapek do some lovely watches. But of course, they are never cheap. I can't imagine doing a pub crawl, and attempting to tell the time with that design of Louis Erard lol. Being sober would be hard enough. The retro designs are fascinating.
Love the Nomos watch - being bit of a fan of the brand (especially the Tangente). Its a brand that can come across as being rather functional/austere in its design, so a "double date" wasnt what I expected from them. But it looks great, especially with the red date. Germans aint known for their sense of humor... this is a close as it gets!
It’s always the same with these CZapeks. I see them and want them and then I look them up and then I see the price. :/ The last one is really crazy. It looks like it comes directly from the movie „The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari“. Someone should tell Nomos that dates are disturbing. Better no date than two date although I like the idea with the wandering date on the outer ring. 🕐⚙️😘
When I saw that the theme of the episode was odd watches, I was sure you were going to talk about the Hamilton PSR 74 that just came out today. A little disappointed it didn't get a mention, but the other watches you showed more than made up for it.
If you're 480p in real life, you're a very blurry man. It's nothing to be ashamed of but it's equally fine to use technology to hide some of our shortcomings. Confession may be good for the soul but it's not of any benefit on UA-cam.
@@KillingTimeWithNorman I usually place the blame on sunspots and never get any arguments. Not even from the sunspots themselves. They're pretty thick skinned, I reckon.

Yeah Nomos's wandering date is super cool. Nice and subtle. 🍸🍸

@@astorbeijer9424 I will look that one up. It'll have to make a showing in a future video! Thank you for that! 🍸🍸
@@astorbeijer9424 Ah yes that watch. I'll have to note that for a future video.
That blue faced watch is fake news (and fake time) Norman. 😂😂😂
