Could do with re-pressurising the nose leg or fit an oleo/strut gag so that it sits at the correct attitude, looks odd at that angle!

What engines did they use?

It all seems very wasteful. Hundreds of new jets being pumped out while these jets sit idle rotting away in the desert.

I used to fly these birds, I just retired from The Airlines after a 40 plus year long Clim career & almost exactly 30,000 flights hours. When MacDonnell Douglas went under, I retyped to fly B 737's. But I began my Career flying DC-9's, (Straight Analogue,) Then moved up to MD-80's, 82's, 83's, 88's & 90's. This Pilot took it easy, but The 90's could Climb Out at 7000 fpm on a Full Power Takeoff! Awesome Aircrafts! However, something that I was really unable to see from My Vantage Point in The Cockpit were the Engines Spooling Up, As Shown In This Video.That Condensation In A Jet Engine Isn't Uncommon. I believe I glimpsed the little Vortex that was spoken of when The Power Was Increased & The Condensation was eliminated. It was pretty cool! Oh man! I miss my Job! I miss MacDonnell Douglas Aircrafts!

Thanks for just putting music over it and letting us get lost in the sight of so many aircraft. The choice of 70s/80s-style synth music was also somewhat appropriate, considered that was the heyday for many of these jets. A very enjoyable video.

I used to go TDY to old George AFB in the mid to late 80's from Myrtle Beach. Surprised to see the L-1011. Most of those FedEx were the retired MD-10's. The old DC-10's the upgraded to the 2 man flight decks. Those were 2 very rare DC-8-62's also.....very surprised to see those.

I was stationed at once was George AFB in the late '80s flying the F105 and the F4E Phantom

I can understand keep old planes like 737, 757, 747 and others from models that are still hundreds of them flying for parts. But why keep obsolete ones like DC-8, 707 and others that have no more a single one flying. They should either buy them in a museum or scrap them.
