A Premium 3D Printer Enclosure that almost hits the Mark - Fnatr Box #02 Review
#3dprinting #enclosure #trynottobreakanything
This is my review of the Fnatr Box #2 3D Printer Enclosure. This video is sponsored by Fnatr but they have given me full license to give any sort of criticism I want about the enclosure. In this video, I printed two different sized 3DBenchys using ABS on the A1 Mini and A1 while inside of the enclosure and outside of the enclosure. The results were pretty underwhelming since the prints came out nearly identical. However, this 3D printer certainly helps reduce dust from dirtying your printer and reduces the exposure of harmful contaminants from entering the air of your 3d print room.
CORRECTION: I realized after shooting this video that the tabs can be inserted from the bottom of the enclosure without disassembling it. There are slots at the bottom which allow for easy passthrough.

    I noticed before you removed the cutting blade the beveled part was facing down. When you installed the new one you placed the bevel facing up does it matter if the bevel is facing up or down? My bevel was facing down when I replaced it from factory so I maintained that same direction.

    Why does this take 12 hours where my filament dryer says it only takes 4? Is it because the filament dryer has a fan? I know it works because the hydrometer says on a new spool it's 40% and after going through the dryer it is 19%. I kinda what to dry on in the printer just to see if it can get even lower than 19%.

    • @Jaykav99
      @Jaykav99 27 днів тому

      12 is the default value by Bambu but you can change the value of both time and temp …this guy seems to make alot of assumptions and even did the drying wrong …ya don’t put the filament in a box you make a lid out of a box so the filament is touching the print bed …best advice just read the instructions on the machine

    Jfc, coming from the A1 Mini, I did NOT expect this. Changing the nozzle to a smaller/larger diameter should be a 1-minute process. 🤦‍♀ Edit: I was just looking for a quick guide on changing the nozzle, so I didn't notice the description or watch the very beginning of the video. I just changed my nozzle pretty quickly, since apparently the nozzles my friend bought for me as a gift were actually the complete hotend. I think that extra $20 is a steal. I'd pay an extra $100 if I had to, considering I like to be able to change nozzles frequently. Having to deal with a ceramic heater, thermistor, and worst of all, thermal paste, just for a simple nozzle change, is completely unacceptable IMO.
