A great tutorial 😊 but I’m having trouble with as I’m new to publisher and I’m using an iPad version, could you please help me? What I’m trying to do is use a glyph as a bullet from one font, and I want the text to be a different font, now my custom bullet is appearing but when I change the font it disappears or changes, I tried making a paragraph style as shown, but when I don’t change the font to the one with the custom bullets nothing appears, any thoughts ? Thanks in advance😊

I was experimenting and watching and It looks like colors get added to the COLOR TAB ' side panel' when you actually change the color on an element-shape/text. The used color shows up in both the COLORS and SWATCHES tab.

Hi, thank you for the tutorial. I am having a problem with editing multiple Master pages. When I delete the 1 from a Monday on a Tuesday_31 Master Page, it deletes the 1 from all the other Master Pages, including the Monday_31 (not "Pages", I am on the Master Pages). I am using the latest AP right now as well, but I just can't seem to make it work. Is there a way to make the program process these multiple Master Pages as individual pieces so it stops clumping them together to apply same edits?

And, also, it looks awful! That windmills sails got the strangest proportions, the perspective is all wrong, and the sails seem to be attached to the roof in stead of the front of the mill.

Is there a way to set up multiple text boxes so that if the text is altered in one, all the others change? i.e. I'd like to put version numbers on each page of a document so that all of them will change at the same time when I alter one, rather than having to manually alter each text box separately.

Question😅 when deleting the dates to create templates …. When doing one month all template changes. So Monday 31 changes all following ….. not sure it there is something in need to click …. Can’t move to 30 day templates till I figure this out….im new to affinity but know keynote pages and procreate. I want to be able to understand this program …. At least for templates Help!!! And thank you!!

Your timing is perfection! I loved playing with the other calendar layout and created a Sunday to Saturday master. I have made a calendar up to the end of 2025. One can only hope that I will live long enough to enjoy it. I was going to try adding pictures, and now you have included that information in this video. I am thrilled to go back and play around with the design. I am so glad I found your channel. Looking forward to other lessons. I love all the Affinity Suite of products.

Love the tutorial. At the end, I prefer to export my template set as an actual template so that when it comes time to use it again, I don't have to remember to do "file/save-as". (I ALWAYS forget that step!). This way, when I want to make new calendars, I start by going to "templates" on the left side and pick my calendar set instead. This way I'm working on Affinity's duplicate of my templates and leaving the original files untouched. Saves me a lot of grief...
