The Flaming Lips perform live at Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (07/29/87).
This concert features the first known performances of Sonic Youth's "Death Valley '69" and R.E.M.'s "7 Chinese Brothers." This show also features the first documented appearances of The Doors' "Break On Through" and David Essex's "Rock On" in the "Scratchin' The Door" medley.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure who taped this show, if anyone has any details then I'd love for them to leave a comment.
The video artwork was made using promotional art for 'Hear It Is,' which was designed by Wayne Coyne.
