I think it’s a sweet stylish little bike that is quite different to anything else…. I guess it’s just if you like it but it not worry about it identity…. a bit disappointed in the rad, it looks more like something from a Morris Minor and also the strange little almost cheap fixes in like the brake clip at the pedal… and these things can be too easily fiddled with. It’s interesting actually it’s exactly the same weight wet as my old 650 BSA Thunderbolt, and it has brought to mind on medications why are modern bikes so heavy and also big dimensions…. ….but I think it has a place in the market and by all accounts they are flying off the shelves so I guess it’s a good start…..

From memory, the Shotgun is an alternative for the discontinued HD883. The only downside is this parrallel twin does not sound like a V - or L-twin. To me, it sounds very generic... As a Griso and Classic350 owner, I did chose the J350 engine over the 650. Perhaps this is the reason sales are lower as expected?

Nice video. I think the proper riding reguster with this bike is keeping it in higher rot\min, you ride it like on a 350 classic, change up the gears to early i think, can't feel much difference in "performance" mode. This is the feeling watching the video. I love RE 's everyone for what they are, but imho this is destinited to be rided in a different way., somehow like the finnish muzic is😊 About construction, you are absolutely right with the cooler radiator protection lack, and that wide transversal pozition is even worse, exposing the end's, a vertical pozition might be proper, like on the other RE's.

Good to see you out and about trying out another RE creation, they realy do have something for everyone, can't say anything bad about RE's they just make great bikes, cheers and all the best.

Royal Enfield class it as a Roadster. I've had one since Sept 1st and now covered 400 miles on it. Its road manners are impeccable which is where it will be used. The stock suspension is excellent as is the build quality and it goes like you know what off a shovel and more than capable of long distance motorway riding. The OEM Seat is excellent also and I suffer with an arthritic spine. All in all a great value bike, I'm well happy, although perhaps a little biased as I've had 3 Classic 350s, 3 Meteors and a Himalayan so you could say I like REs. Comparing it to say the Triumph 400 speed the Guerilla is the far better bike, very sujective I know! Thanks for posting your Video, always interesting to hear others views and takes on a bike.🙂👍

Hi Dickie, another nice bike review there mate. I’m not really a lover of the modern looking spacecraft type bikes but I do like the look of that little bike. It’s just got a good look about it for a modern bike. I had most of the late 70’s and all the 80’s bikes so that is my real biking era. I really enjoyed your casual bike review…. And I think it’s probably one of the best reviews I’ve seen…. Not over techie everyone knows the spec…. It was nice to witness your responses to various characterful moments as they appeared when riding…. a great bike one I’m quite keen on which has surprised me as really I was initially interested in a chrome red interceptor…. Mind you that might still happen as I’m not intending to buy a brand-new bike but one up to 2 years old….. and the interceptors with low mileage are very reasonable… Thank you, and yes, I will subscribe. I like your way.

Nice one Dick !!! I took out the 450 for 2 hour ride ....took it off road , abs off on performance mode, was great fun ! However, I'm going to wait a year before I decide to buy one. I still love my Meteor 350 and KTM . Cheers

I was looking forward to the release and to see that they are only available in a black frame, black rims, black engine and gearbox then no thanks. I was hoping they'd be like my 2020 Classic 500 and to spend $12, 000 on a bike I'm not happy with won't be happening.

Bought Himalayan 450 . Absolutely fell in love with it , it has completely different characteristics compared to 411. Its a very good offroader but at the same time it adapts to the roads , thanks to its suspension. Power delivery is limear, more suited for beginners, old people not like outright power of ktm. But you can always tune its power with aftermarket accessories . It's avg mileage after 1st service is31kmpl some of my friends also getting upto 34kmpl by simple tweaking through fuelx pro. Its more of tourerer rather ( 60% onroad, 40% offroad) than pro off-roader
