Motorcycle touring in Iceland on my BMW GS1100 in April. In this Episode (EP4) I go north, traveling from Reykjavik up to Akureyri where I pitch tent south of the city. This day was very windy close to the mountains. Much more than you can see in the video. Apparently there where warnings that I missed which resulted in me not being able to film as much as I would have liked. I apologize for the short video.

I can not stress enough how I do like your videos. I have the same bike and I travel but I don't film. I think your videos are even better than "Long way round". There are two Holland guys @hillclimber9808 Hill climber channel on UA-cam. They also travel along Mongolia and other countries on GS 1100. You can see their journey its also very impressive. Just its not in English. And they uploaded only half of their journey. Anyway I hope to see many more of your videos and good luck!

Next time a Gascooker could save your life... and it keeps warm in the tent.
Even with winter gas it does not work below minus 20 and pretty poor even at minus 15. I had one last year with lantern. It's cozy sometimes but not worth the space and weight I think 🥲

Will installing metal nails on tires affect driving safety on asphalt roads without ice and snow?？
Yes a little bit. You will lose some grip and brake of course, but still have plenty of it if you drive slower and safe 👍

@@Siberian1-g1g Depends on what kind of driving you gotta do. I didn't used that many here. Maybe 100, just to get over the first mountain witch had sections of snow (not recorded). And there I drove very slow. But for my winter trip i had 275 in my front and 365 in the rear but that is also a lot since I have a big bike with no skis.
@@FROZENBIKERIDE I also need to climb a mountain. After descending the mountain, it will take a lot of time to remove 100 metal nails.
