Thanks for this. First 2 times I did it, it didn't work. Probably because I was trying to make sure to follow directions exactly. But I must have been hitting the flashers too slow. After you cycle the power 3 times, you have to do the flasher sequence immediately and quick presses. Then I was able to change the code. Thanks again!

Have same issue 2014 camaro bought oem replacement online went to do some prep work removed faceplate and connector reseated connector i then went into config menu and changed some of the vehicle settings and now havent had the issue for a week

yes i cut the white far left wire , problem totally solved camaro '15 ls.....

Hey Heather, still have the Slim? Thinking maybe you got rid of it after the oil pump issues and so dropped your channel. Sure hope it isn't anything much worse.

I have called today March 26 , 2022, and what the agent told me was, i have to take the car to the dealership and pay the diagnostic because they never receive a call with that issue. They asked me for my last 8 of VIN # AND THE MILEAGE, also my car is 2013 i got it like 2 years ago from carmax obviously the warranty already expired they gonna tell you that , so im just gonna replace the radio and fix it myself i dont want to give them any money... for diagnostic. ITS RIDICULOUS

My 2015 Camaro is having the same issue but the problem has gotten worst smh, Camaros are nice looking cars from the outside but all the issues that come with them isn't worth it and EVERY issue is very expensive to fix in these cars. Make me miss my 1998 Toyota so much lol.

Any update on the recall or how to fix the issue? I called the dealer and they said if it was just a software issue it’s going to cost me $195.

I had the same issue...it cost me a lot to repair and the issue caused an actuator in my AC unit to break, which caused me additional repair costs. In all I have spent over 4-5k to fix the issue. It's been 3-4 years now and I just heard a pop in my speakers when turning on the car today, the radio then would not play FM stations but would play AUX. I too have a 2013.

I have the exact same problem with the exact same year car no heat radio doesn't come on anymore started with the flashing and almost exactly the same thing. .. ,😡

to anyone having this conflict, its the radio receiver unit that is the problem. I took my car to my guy who is a car nerd and he checked all fuses and said everything if fine, so it must be the receiver is "shot". What you need to do is go on ebay, buy a matching radio receiver unit for your car that is unlocked and take it to your local audio car store and have them install it. I bought a used unlock radio receiver unit for about $125 for a 2015 ls camaro on ebay and the install at my local shop cost around $240. The dealership wanted to charge me almost $850 for the same service. It takes a little time to find the matching part but you can go the audio store that you want to install the unit at, have them take out the old one, and have them tell you the part#. My a/c, radio, and turn signals all started working after installing this used part.

Im having the same issues. But try turning on the defrost first. Then turn it off and then try the a/c. That’s worked for me, hopefully it works for you too until it gets fixed.

Heather, I hope you still come back to check comments. I just bought a used 19 Bonneville Salt Denim Slim. I love your videos and that made me decide on the salt denim. It took me 2 years to find it, but one just dropped into my lap with only 231 miles. I hope you get back to vlogging with that beautiful bike!

I just bought a 2005 version of the Sportster XL1200 Roadster for $2000. A great steal. Had to clean the carbs for it and do a fluid change, but runs great. Feels great.

Nice scoot Heather. Have the same white slim in a 2019 and love it now. Did have a problem with the seat on any ride over 45 minutes but i swapped it out with a stock seat from a 2018 and up Street Bob. The Streetbob has the same pleated tuck and roll styling, but with a bit more lower back cushion that does a MUCH better job of keeping my butt planted. Got a new takeoff from a guy on Ebay for $60 bucks shipped. Highly recommend the seat.

I have the same issue n my turn signals just started not making sounds I plan on calling tomorrow. I've reviewed a couple videos about cutting the white wire helps but reviewed another video saying it was just a temporary fix. Hope for a recall bout I have my doubts

I'm trying to find a bike for the wife. She is also 5'3" and I was thinking a mid control bike like the Low Rider would fit her fine. How is your back after a few hours of hitting bumps? Only asking because I understand your back gets all the impact when your legs are stretched out.
