decesed craft is an actual W, i played it with my friends and it was such a good pack fr, we made zombie containment areas with abrbed wire and shot each other with guns

Create chronicles is kind of lame ngl, the balancing is very strange. You can find everything you need from the quest that give you everything as a reward, and a few villages.

Dimensional Doors is a dimensional tech mod. I adore it bc of what you can do once you get a steady supply of world thread from exploring. I love/hate it for how cruel exploring its depths can be... 9/10 get the gold Dimensional door when you can. Infinite random Dungeons? Sign me uo!

I feel like the bracken pack would be a fun data pack to try out. It has a few issues, but it adds 11 dimensions one of which is a water dimension.

You should try “Cracker’s witherstorm mod” because unlike other boss mods where they want you to prepare big time, this mod wants you to start the witherstorm as soon as you spawn, you could prepare and then start it or you can start it and run away while getting resources. It even makes you want to escape to the nether. My two problems with this mod is that is is really laggy and the spawn camping.

1:46 "but it's an older modpack" DANG, I feel old now I remember when RLCraft came out, 1.7.10 would be considered a little old to me since that was my first version, but not much and that was 2014. RLCraft was released in 2018 😭

First, great video! I've been out of the loop of newer dimension mods, so it's nice to learn about some of them (and see returning ones lol) Not sure if you'd look into mods for older versions, but I found the LOTR Legacy Mod (1.7.10) is a really good dimension mod. I normally play 1.18.2, but the mechanics and changes they made in that mod makes playing that version much better (even adding features from newer versions). It adds Middle Earth as its own dimension (and not fully randomly generated, it generates as a map), and you can interact with and join the different peoples that live there (dwarves, hobbits, orcs, elves, etc.). All the regions have their own features and peoples to make them unique, and a full faction system so you can conquer areas. I definitely recommend checking it out, it also has a wiki if you get lost

Echoing those suggesting a modern terrafirmacraft pack that contains create - such as autoterrafirmacraft, gravitas2 or terrafirmagreg. Don’t be put off by two of those having Greg -especially if you care more about adventure than completionism. I honestly feel that terrafirmacraft is one of, if not the, best personal storytelling experiences, and create fits right in naturally. Going to have to try some of your adventure / RP recommendations!

I believe that trash slot should be in every pack. It would actually be pretty nice if Mojang added a trash slot to vanilla MC. Extreme Sound Muffler is also good to have in most packs, having annoying ass machines, portals and whatever else constantly making sounds near your base is horrendous, but it's nice to have normal block sounds. This mod is especially nice to have in tech packs, because there are a ton of very noisy machines.

This is the first time I've ever heard someone say they like blue skies. It seems like in almost every video I watch with blue skies in it has the person talking about how they dislike the mod. Also the best dimension mod is RFToolsDimensions
