Abuja is not a commercial city. It is an administrative city. Thus, the CBD, as represented in this video, is not a cluster of buildings. But don’t be deceived by Abuja CBD, it will always look scanty because government administration buildings over a large CBD will always look scanty. Abuja’s beauty is in the numerous settlements outside the CBD. Forget the CBD which is mostly government establishments, go to places outside the CBD And you will know Abuja is very beautiful and not scanty. Places like Maitama, Wuse 2, Guzape, Katempe, Asokoro, Garki, Wuse, etc, etc.
It wasn’t designed to have skyscrapers although there’s a part of the plan that is yet to be developed that will have skyscrapers otherwise this completed part was never designed with skyscrapers in mind.
Why does Abuja always look so under developed from the skyline? There's always more of empty lands and scanty buildings when when Abuja is shown from the sky.
Dem never finish Abuja. This phase was never designed to have skyscrapers. A town gets more developed as people come in and the need arises. There was a time they were begging people to come to Abuja and buy properties. Some people that have large numbers of properties but land for so little then. If I call the amount ehh. So those that came in are the main land owners today

Having a very developed city as the thumbnail leaves the actual video as an anticlimax.

The caption said Abuja CBD drive through. Perhaps he’ll make other videos for that. Otherwise he won’t have adequate videos to post. 😂
