Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you too!
I guess I’ve always fallen for and attract avoidants, because every time someone shows interest in me or I share my interest in someone, it leads to nowhere. Is really hard for me to even have romantic feelings for someone and when I do, they’re not emotionally available. That’s why I’ve never had a boyfriend before. I’ve worked on myself so much and I’ve never felt so good about myself and I am happy alone. But I want to give it a try to love, and it just doesn’t seem to work for me.
Randomly got recommended your video, and I enjoyed it! As someone who is facing some relationship troubles... this is great advice, though attachment issues are not easy to heal ❤🩹
Happiness is a personal responsibility and it comes from within
Well said! :)

Love the double f in the life on the sign of the change your liffe office 😂 I've lately often seen videos titled "how to change completely in 6 months" or similar but never watched one, since I thought that might be overly ambitious (and maybe even a little scarry). But if you're also jumping on this idea I'm curious how that plan looks like ;)
Haha well observed! I am a sceptic too but I think it depends how you think about it. A day could change your life if it shifts how you think and act!
i need the cliff notes version!
Maybe one day! :D I wish life came with one hahah
@ maybe you can write it? you are very insightful & you have a fun sense of humor
People are mostly insecure or arrogant, which causes people to be self-centered. Yes, insecurity is a form of self-centeredness in which one is obsessed over their "flaws," often projecting in some harmful way to themselves and others. Insecure people and arrogant people are the easiest to manipulate, which is why media / propoganda work as they do. To make you arrogant or insecure, as a normalized thing so you buy buy buy to flex or try to self-validate. It is difficult to be confident, content AND HUMBLE. Good people are confident, content, and humble. It is very difficult to even gain that mindset let alone fill a rocket ship with such people, until our dystopic corporate world changes in infrastructure.
Very true and great observations! I don’t think we need to look for perfect people but maybe only people who try to keep the balance right, move in the good direction!
@@lostinadmiration Yes! Millions of us have good will I believe so, but being good is hard because one - its subjective. Two - it requires a huge amount of self awarwness, world awareness and logic to discern what action you should take. Three - the actions you must take aren't always "good" ironically due to subjectivity lol. I don't have toxicity in my life because Im mean tbh. Im mean in a sense that I have no problem asserting myself / boundaries as needed to keep harmony in my life. A lot of "good" people are too passive, which that usually causes a lot of disharmony lol. "Good" people lack the ability to conceptualize enforcement of good, or worry they'll "hurt" others. You're going to have to hurt others around you at times. What makes us good is how well we can give and take those hard lessons constantly. Even the way to heaven is paved with blood. Lots of blood. Yes we need toxic people out of our lives, but that's not a result of just "being nice," or ignoring these individuals who may not be ignorable. You kill a snake by crushing it's head. "Good people have the most grit" is an expression my grandpa would say - 100% the truth lol.
I have just discovered your channel and i love it so much! I saw another comment that said this video is like a big warm hug and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for sharing your advice in a such down to earth and engaging manner :) Now I am off to watch another video!
No thanks. Good luck with people like Dr. Smith in lost in space. 😂
Good one!
well said 👍🏼
Thank you! 😊
Where do you find those people though? I feel like it's pretty much impossible to find any kinds of friends as an adult, let alone really upstanding ones.
Ughhh I feel you and I struggle with this too! But I think still having this realization helped, that I want fewer people but who add value to my life, not just anyone! For me it helps to go to classes or events in themes I enjoy! But I also struggle to make friends as an adult to be honest

I'm pretty sure it was the many hours spent outside every day as a child, when I was three, four, and five. Listening to nature, wired peace into my brain in the form of birds sing. This is just one of my beautiful memories from a time before people tried to beat my kindness out of me. They wanted to make me conform. Fortunately, they never fully succeeded. Now, I'm remembering that child, and for the first time since I was five, I'm truly myself again!
I am so happy for you and proud! You did so well, to stick to what’s important to you, not to forget what’s true and valuable to you! ❤️🤗 sending you a warm hug for 2025!
@@lostinadmiration 😊🤗❤🩹for you too!
Totally agree with you and for me the important rule is always to return to "back to basics". That's usually a good starting point 😊
Such a great idea - thank you for sharing!
Love is the "longing of the soul". When this person is close, their energy is close. When they move away, it is as if the bonds of the soul have been severed and the soul "longs". Love is madness (from the logic side), but beautiful madness ;)))
How poetic! Beautifully said :) thank you for sharing
@@lostinadmiration Poetic? So I still have a good... song :D "Killing me softly with his song" ;) So... I thank you! :D
@@marcin3136 Love that song!!!
Your analogy about speaking in a second language is so eye opening. I’m anxiously attached and going through something right now and keep thinking to myself I’ll never be able to become someone securely attached. Maybe I won’t ever be 100% perfect and will at times revert back to old habits but I feel really inspired and enlightened at the idea of using a second language (ie. trying to act like a securely attached person) even if it’s not my “mother” tongue (being anxiously attached).
"patterns versus life partners" thats what I'm discovering right now!
So glad for you! Wishing you the very best!
The part where you compared attachment issues to languages was such an "aha" moment for me. I grew up seeing quite dysfunctional patterns around me and I also love learning foreign languages, so that metaphor deeply resonated with me and gave me some food for thought, so thank you for that! I am grateful that I stumbled on your video ❤.
I am so glad it resonated! And I am the same, loved learning languages and faced some issues with unhealthy relationship patterns too. I feel like it takes us longer than other people but once you see it, it clicks, you rarely slip back into old patterns. Sending you a big hug for 2025!

Daria it's such a beautiful video , I wish I could have seen it years ago, I'm crying 🥹❤️ so proud of you and extremely grateful to be your friend ❤️

@@my_utopia6320 wishing you the very best for 2025!
@lostinadmiration happy new year 2025
Love the words you use when you are speaking. It feels luxurious. What have you done to speak in this way? Do you prepare what you will say beforehand?
Thank you so so much! I do script the videos. I have the text and learn each part but I don’t stick to it word for word! For improving speaking, I try to read a lot as it helps with vocabulary! :)
Great video, one of (if not the best) Tenerife guide I’ve seen. And thank you so much for show the interactive map, it helps so much.
Thank you so much! 😊
have you heard of REBT? it's an approach to thinking about life events in a more even way. albert ellis wrote the original piece and lots of others have written beyond his philosophy. when i remember to use it, rational -emotional behavior techniques, def help me think more clearly/cleanly?
Oh that’s fascinating! I don’t think I know it. I will look into this, for sure - thank you! 😊
I'm 37 and in a relationship with a woman for almost 2 years, and it is being very easy. We have a lot in common and she has many qualities I value, but something is making me sad. Although she has all these qualities, I don't feel much atracted for her. I can't erase from my mind the experiences I had with other women, prettier than her. I feel guilty about it, but I can't deny my desire to be with other women. This conflict inside of me is making me mad. Sorry for my bad english, and thank you for your video.
Thank you for opening up and sharing this! I feel like romantic love and feelings of attraction are also important. Have you ever felt it in your relationship? If you did, but lost it, maybe you can work together as a couple on getting it back? Keeping the flame alive is also something that needs to be intentional at times. I hope you manage to make it work so that you feel happy and fulfilled!
Thank you so much for the tips. Considering how professional this video looks and how valuable your points are, i thought this was a bigger video/channel.
Oh thank you so much for saying this! Maybe one day! I would love to reach a wider audience:)
As a woman in her 50’s I’d say you got a lot figured out for your age! Really great video, information. 🙏🏼💕
Thank you so much for saying so! Means a lot :)
So true
What to do when you don’t like cleaning 🧼 🧽 ???
Tips from this lovely video, thank you for sharing!! Your voice is lovely and these are so so so important esp 4th one : 1. Love with an open hand. Respect the need of individual hobbies - you don't have to occupy their whole life and share all of their hobbies together (it might end up feeling trapped) 2. Love requires effort but it shouldn't feel hard - put effort in relationship. We need time to grow and so does our partner. However if it feels impossible - recognise that. It's not supposed to be that hard. 3. Know your worth - USP (unique selling points), find out what you bring to the table. Write down what your dream partner would have and if you have that too - if you don't, try to grow yourself. 4. They're not your type. Theyre your pattern - people follow patterns not types. Try consciously breaking it.
Thank you so much for this lovely summary! It’s so helpful!
