I loved playing Ezio with language set to Italian and English subtitles tuned on in AC II! It was great! I was so annoyed in later titles that you couldn't do the same in other games. Imagine if in Origins if Bayek had spoken Ancient Egyptian (we do know how it sounded, you can look it up) and if you had heard Ancient Greek and Latin from the Greek and Romans. It would have been so cool! I think Netflix and other streaming services have really evolved the worlds’ ability to comprehend subtitles, so I don’t think it would be that much a leap nowadays to make that kind of thing happen.
