After a decade, Destiny fans finally realizing it ain't gonna be Halo. Most of you wouldn't even be here if Bungie didn't have the rep of Halo. Not even Halo is Halo anymore. This game has always been a slop fest. Warframe is way better than Destiny, and that game is a mashfest too.

another nice game with nice gunplay but clunky movement, i will never understand why fresh games usually have this down to earth movement systems, cs wouldnt be that good without strafes and CoD without slides and sprints even valorant did it alright with agent abilities. Valorant already feels like you have stone boots compared to cs but its at least responsive and peeks are quick, but in this game peeking looks like in Spectre Divide which is complete garbage. Maybe if basic movement speed in this game was a little faster and knife boost launching you further there is still hope but then it would lack depth. I would compare this game to CoD if it was heroshooter without any movement tech to peek corners, only being able to counter corner holds by using ability is mid af.

Yeah this pretty much it for Destiny 2, and there no one to blame but the studio heads that have mismanaged the game and setting bad scopes and projects upon the game, I adore teh game but if I wanna make my little video journal Destiny 2 is not it. if I do ill prolly upload stuff bothering my mind then move on. I feel for the developers, but yeah its pretty much over, I dotn want it to be over but it is.

I hope to play fragpunk when it comes out on steam. I used to play destiny a long time ago but it just never gave enough. I play warframe from time to time, i don't get fomo so its nice 1999 is almost out in December

I'm sure this game will get its fair share of the pie (unlike Concord) but I doubt it will overthrow the current FPS giants like CoD, Overwatch, Valorant, or CSGO.

I play warframe and you said you have nothing to chase in the game which got me thinking that I chase things in warframe too and I wondered whether I would eventually run out of things to get. I then realised that I often play with no thought about acquiring anything for weeks at a time and those times are just for the enjoyment of the movement and buildcraft.

I was 10/10 hyped for Destiny from day 1, but it was always a disappointment. The movement, mechanics and gunplay were c tier at best. The lore is awesome but it's hidden behind these massive browser based walls of text which is just fucking lazy. And the content is absolutely horrendous for the price. compared to WoW (i play both and the models are more similar than most people think), you're getting about 1/4 of the content per expansion and they're made with WAY less effort. The design team absolutely fucking nails it every time, but the things that actually matter are just skin deep. Guns feel either gimmicky or boring, weapon types are so limited for an mmo, pvp is horrible, ttk and weapon recoil are just wrong, the class builder only technically exists and is the worst of any 'mmo' to date, content gets old almost instantly. There's just no innovation here despite the enormous budget and hype Lazy ass franchise that could have been so much more, if Bungie just tried harder. Using blizzard as a positive exampe feels bizarre in 2024

"PVP game with as much depth" Buddy destiny pvp has never had depth that is pure cope. Destiny's PVP is quite literally just "Meta build" the game

i just came across this vid and its safe to say, i quit apex (not fully but havent played in weeks) and i can safely say fragpunk really made me forget about other games i have a unhealthy addiction with. I cant wait for the full release my hand is itching since it left.

I feel bad for ya'll that didn't drop the game sooner. Played the 1st game religiously not going to prom because I'd rather play Destiny with the boys. Played the 2nd one almost religiously until they killed Cayde. They really lost me when they caved to the PvP scrubs whining they couldn't get Redrix's Claymore so Bungie gave a better Redrix out to everyone with a quest. I came back after whatever DLC came out after Forsaken and when they brought Hawkmoon back as the slop it now is I perma quit. No point in trying to use a high skill weapon when people are just spamming supers and that dumb grenade launcher that blew up on proximity and killed you for free. They never made meaningful changes to PvE and PvP is just press super to win. They can't balance a PvP game to save their lives or this game. I loved the Franchise but I honestly am excited to see it die peacefully or kicking and screaming. Either way good riddance EDIT: Yeah Fragpunk looks cool as hell

games are so unfun these days that when a game is fun comes out everyone is blown away by it. I remember when almost ever other game was literally just fun. Sad world....originality is less and less. No one is willing to push genres forward and be a bit different. I for one actually respect games series that get a lot of back lash for changing what was good about them and taking risks. I rather they do that than to remain stagnant. It will always be a hit or miss. Sure a lot of people ended up hating on it, but its that willingness to try new things what got you success originally when you became the "genre defining" game.

i really dislike the recoil in this game, i play mainly valorant, cod, cs, and the game i played the most in my life Destiny 1 and 2, removing valorant from that list all of these games have such a good recoil to control

i havnt been playing it much, reason being, they keep making awful changes, they made checkmate the new normal and lossed half of there daily pvp players, me including, then they walked that back, but players have already moved on, and then they made my fav class, that being bubble titan, useless... all because of one game mode, that being trials with the capture points.... so i have 0 reasons to play, and i was very big on pvp in destiny, now...? not anymore... they even removed red borders, so i have even less of a reason to play, as grinding red borders is what kept me playing mostly...
