Them putting the übersaw in keep hurts. Acting like it didn't ruin medics balance. People just dont want to admit its stupid cause if you dont have an übersaw medic and the enemies do. You automatically lose. If a weapin is good that no one else uses its competitors. then it is brolen (same applies for crossbow)

It's odd to me that you talk about removing overlap, yet keep both Eyelander and Claymore, given that Eyelander is just a worse Claymore until you collect 2 heads. I think the decision should've been between those 2 swords, and I think I would keep the Eyelander, because in the end it's more fun to collect heads.

While I agree that Pyro's spy command is easy to recognize in and of itself I dislike that the voice command is exactly the same regardless of who you accuse of being a spy. You can't point out a specific class being a spy because the voiceline doesn't change.

I would say back scratcher is better if you are going into the backlines as pyro without a pocket where your only healing is health packs. but powerjack is way better if you are going on point because of the mobility boost

26:05 this is at least accurate for me, the only reason i considered playing pyro in the first place is the contracts. That might also be why I seem to enjoy the dragon's fury and thermal thruster more than other pyro players.

i never experienced the glory of the pre nerf axtinguisher but i absolutely love it today - the one issue i have is the difference in damage from degreaser to flamethrower. i would like to try out a version that does damage based on time since ignition (or last ignition). i wont throw out any damage numbers, but i don’t think the degreaser penalty should make the axtinguisher worse by extension. or, maybe the axtinguisher’s damage could be calculated as if it had the stock after burn? idk i’d love to get more opinions on this

Ok so, old man sniper main here, from way back pre MvM. Sniper then was balanced mostly but it was definitely rather strong if you played it correctly , though most snipers were eye candy. That said, communism does actually have good answers to questions the issue is the good answers are, right now, too ideal. Given that war is still a necessary part of any countries survival.

my biggest problem with pyro is that every single one of his flamethrowers aside from stock hinder airblast in some way. degreaser and backburner make it more ammo costly, dragon's fury slows it down and technically makes it more costly too as you only get 8 uses (i think?) as opposed to stock's 10, and then the phlog outright removes it. if i had to change them, i personally would make the degreaser's airblast cost 5 LESS ammo rather than 5 more, since the penalty its of fire being less effective would make sense if it were more 'air focused.' I also think the backburner should be toned down slightly, maybe to 30-35 so you aren't sacrificing a fourth of your pool anytime you want to reflect something or extinguish someone, which i tend to do a lot and i'm sure i'm not alone in this regard.

IMO I still think Pyro is worse then spy simply because at least spy has niches where you want him, I honestly cant think of any situation where a pyro is the best class for the job, spy at least has a few niches were hes actually useful, but pyro has next to none

For my opinion on the baby face blaster, is that to keep it. Even tho it isnt the best on like normal game mode it shines on versus saxton hale (vsh) since scout cant out RUN hale whit other guns (even tho he can dodge him he will short live) whit baby face blaster if he Has hit hale enough for max speed he can barely outrun hale and be annoyance.

Here's mine beacuse I missed the original post The pyro is one of the best designed characters in all of online shooters. (not best balanced) A fight against a pyro is usually more based on your skill, than it is on the pyro player.

Pyro will always be the middle child, he is useful for attack, defense and support, but he will never be extremely good at these things.
