I have for the first time ever kept them continuously full for 6 weeks and the results are amazing

I’m starting to recognise individuals now I adore them all

It’s my first time doing it and in the past year I’ve feed them more than ever and I’m so pleased with the results they are chattering loudly dawn to dusk x

I turned off the sonic rat deterrent by accident , we were replacing the back not expecting to redo the front as it wasn’t old gutted but at least it’s all done now

It’s a work of art I loved watching Bill our thatcher at work he was with us on Boxing Day rescuing us from the calamity

So lucky with the house , it was a blocked ditch about 500yards down the lane 😢we are ok so that counts

It’s a very old fashioned way of growing roses 🌹 it was built and planted early summer, and eventually they grow along the rope x

@@Thetudorcottagediaries That's a great idea. I have raccoons visiting the garden and since that time there are no birds breeding in the garden anymore. I've planned already to put one nesting box into the firethorn. Birds could go in easily but no other animal could climb up. I have to look where I can set up a post for roses.
