Jaeden was a very worthy winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition, 21 Sept., 2024. I was never previously very " moved " by the Brahms " P.Con 2 ", (Yes, for shame !), But Jaeden brought so much strength, decisiveness and elegance to it, that I see it in a different light now😊🎹. Very grateful for this enlightenment.🎼🎹 ( By the way, I'm not a complete " Philistine"! I've learned and played Chopin, Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, etc., in public...) Classical music is so life- enhancing😊🎹💙🦉. Life circumstances delayed getting closely involved , but what I did achieve, then, has been the best thing I ever did😊.. Eternal thanks for the huge store of treasures there for all to enjoy and share. 🇬🇧🎼🦉🎹😊💙🇬🇧 🎹🎼🎹🎼💙🎹🎼 🎼🎹💙🎼🎹💙🎼

I greatly enjoyed Leila Getz's talk with Rachel Fenlon. Rachel is a wonderful performer, already so in her UBC days. I remember her singing the role of Pamina moving me and others to tears. We won't miss her performance of the Winterreise.
