I stumbled upon Staunton booking a room at Hotel 24 on my way to Maryland from Oklahoma. I thought I had fallen into a Hallmark Movie! It is the most charming place and a nerd's paradise! I've even begun investigating home sales on Zillow! Short of that, I will certainly be returning next summer for an extended stay! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!

Congrats on getting your CJO, and good luck with your training. I really don't know what I did or what I said, but I received CJO' s from Two major airlines on my first try. I regret not going to training, I guess it wasn't my time. I'm going to a f2f in two weeks with another airline. I hope this one goes as well as my previous ones.

Thank you for a walk down memory lane. Grew up on Harmon St. In the 50s had a morning paper route around JPA and Stadium Rd. So much has changed. So much is still there. Also was an usher at the Paramount when child labor laws were very relaxed and 65 cents an hour seemed like a lot!

Are they still closing some of the downtown streets in the evenings for pedestrians only, with outside dining and shops staying open later? And there's Shenandoah Park nearby along with the northern entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
