The fact is that WISDOM only affects the speed at which you gain skill points when training , it has very little effect in field actions. There aren't many good instructors in the game, not all of them are Educators, some of them have way low LEADERSHIP and are very slow when teaching , of course you can train your instructor's LEADERSHIP first , that will make the training process even slower. So high WISDOM only applies to those who have the patience to train skills slowly , but ALL tutorials videos suggesting you raise WISDOM which is actually wrong.

i just had two players get +1 wisdom on the same map instance if one finds herbs, and the other found salvageable parts (each on the first try). can a DIFFERENT character then get +1 wisdom by finding herbs/parts later on the same map instance?

I belive if its at "0" it do not lvl up on its own when you patch yourself. But when its at +1 it lvl up seems to lvl up when you use bandages.

Hey, thanks for the video, I was looking for the solution for the puzzle in this dungeon, because I tried so many combinations but was still unable to figure it out. The solution here is quite thinking out of the box, I couldn't have come up with it since I had tried to make use of all spaces around the 2 adjacent diamond tiles. I can only imagine the difficulty of later puzzles 🤕

I had found Jeff's fantastic works thanks to getting one of his titles in a humble bundle. His super-focused mid-budget genre of RPG was exactly in my wheelhouse. Regarding music, you can bet that he didn't have the budget for hiring a sound guy to make a unique soundtrack for the title. Still, a you can really improve the vibes of any RPG with even the most basic MIDI instrumentals, so long as they do not clash with the game itself.

One protip from me would be to hire the free mercs Larry, Flay & Smiley as soon as you can. I use Larry to make ammo, Flay & Smiley are used for training militia while my main squad is going around kicking ass.

I just finished the game on Mission Impossible difficulty and it was fun but felt very short.

I don't like how overloaded Dexterity is in JA3. Agility should be the stat for stealth, and dexterity should be the stat for technical skills.
