Well if you have a chance, mention to him that all versions of the game write the same data to SDRAM so basically you can use the same files for them. Not just NOCD version. This is also how FinalBurnNeo implements it.

I wonder what Taki could make for the current price of a Mister setup. Like keep the FPGA in the same family for compatibility but scale it up until it is just profitable enough to be worth it.

My phone can barely do cps3 with software emulation. And to be fair N64 on android is not great, but either way it would be very impressive to see cps3 on such a low spec FPGA as what we are currently using. I would love to see more CD-i. I would love to see 3D0 and Model 3. (not sure how possible Model 3 is on current hardware.)

5:22 - I really hope that Rainbow Islands will come to the MiSTer. It's an awesome game with a special place in my heart. Used to play it alot in the cafeteria in my hometown back in the days. It was the main reason for me being a Patreon of Jotego since 2022... If I remember correctly someone donated an arcade PCB to Jotego some time ago. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep, sadly, the key is to not give those guys any of your time. Not even a single second, of video, of thought, of care. Just act as though they don't even exist. At the end of the day they really don't matter. Their negativity outweighs any of their contributions to the scene, and that just isn't worth it for ANYONE. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

How the hell do they have the right to make copy-right claims on mere opinions and footage of old arcade games? Surely UA-cam will agree with your appeals?

I hope the Coin-Op Collection folks read these comments. I respect their work and have considered supporting them. I really wanted to, but their sophomoric attitudes turned me off. This week convinced me not to support them, and it's such a shame. I honestly looked forward to the MARS project and all of their efforts.

I support Jotego already and I really hope CPS3 moves to the front of the development line!

Short off topic question: In the MiSTer menu, when I put thousands of roms in ONE folder (like for NES), can I use DPAD-RIGHT or shoulder buttons to quickly browse the list and jump between pages or even starting letters?

i got my pocket from cex and the front case has some scratches on and a nice zelda triforce sticker on the front covers up those scratches

29:18 as a consumer, I would personally love a new and stronger FPGA board that could handle stronger consoles and PCs. Would be perfect with a board that could theoretically handle hardware emulating a Nintendo Wii, or a top of the line Win98 SE PC.
