The game is actually not as good as it could've been, they had to do a shit ton to get the game to run on the 360. This meant downgrading assets to the point where they looked worse than assets from Counter-Strike: Source because of the fact that Counter-Strike: Source was only on PC. Not to mention the fact that the art-style was never fully finished, a lot of assets still have the older texture style from before the game was redesigned. The maps are also a mess, with very rough level design, not being fully polished in a lot of areas. Portal 2, and CS:GO are great examples of what the first game could've looked like if polished to the max.

26:26 I will have to disagree with one condition, sneaking around the witch is only necessary without a shotgun to "crown" her. I often choose the shotgun if a witch hasn't spawned so far which means it'll likely happen in the current map. One or two direct headshots will deal enough damage before she gets up but it requires getting right up close and personal. A bit of a gamble but usually better than having to waste time sneaking and risking another special spawning.

14:11 the light sources can also indicate how long it has been since a place was inhabited/abandoned. Specifically car lights and fire. As we know, car lights don't last long if the engine isn't on... so if the lights are on, the battery hasn't died yet. Thus it couldn't have been more than a day. Flaming barrels? Couldn't have been more than maybe 6 hours depending on the type of wood being burnt.

L4D a mid linear story fps but without a delivered story or diverse gameplay elements. Oh wait nvm it kinda bad 😅

When I first play this game, I was scare, shook and addict to it for 2 year straight.

Back 4 blood only had 5-6 of the original team yet they said it was made by the team behind L4D, then they made a game nothing like L4D lacking in every small detail and even major detail that made the original good, Left 4 Dead 2 is a timeless classic, lots different death animations for zombies, impressive g0re, special zombies that are actually special, headphones keep construction zombies from hearing the pipe bomb, clown zombies and how they work, great facial animation, I could go on forever but it’s basically the standard that valve games have.

I played Hotline miami 2 before the first one, I stumbled across this game because of payday 2 and thought jacket was pretty cool. I played entirety of Hotline miami 2 without knowing wtf was going on the story and just waiting for the part where i play as jacket. I felt like a clown once I understood the story by playing Hotline miami 1

Y'know I have to hand it to you. I've always wondered who and what Richard is, a ghost? A god of death like everyone says? But your theory on him being Jacket's looming psyche haunting everyone else giving out a warning that nothing that they do matters and should just stop what they're doing as like Jacket, he couldn't stop doing what he was doing and ultimately led to his own and everyone's demise. He's seen it all happen time and time again in a loop. Would make more sense with his dialogue with Beard after starting a new game. He has that sense of close familarity with him, so much that it's suspicious. The only kind of familarity one has with somebody whose been through hell and back with one another. Because think about it, every other 50 blessings member's mask had a name representing the owners of said masks, like Richter's, Carl's, Jakes, etc. Richard being Jacket's may seem confusing at first because oh what we really just have two Richards going around? Yes and no, jacket is Richard, a man who finally has it all figured out but its way too late to make a difference because what's done is done. His past self already did the deed that can't be undone and no matter how hard he tries, he can't convince his past self to question why he's doing the acts of violence against the russian mafia and the order of the phone calls or what it all means. Which is why he observes and questions others if what they're doing is worth it all. Because just like himself, all the actions they make up until the final nuke drops is pointless. Damn, this alone helped me understand what the point of hlm 2 truly is and makes me realize how amazing Dennaton are as storytellers. Despite all the cryptic shit they throw at us, it all makes it worth deciphering it with others to finally make our own conclusions! It's official, I'm subscribed!

I'm late to the game. I just d/l this because I am an avid fan of the payday franchise. I was immediately disappointed in the new interface, there was zero reason to change that.
