How did your old pump fail? Did it leak, or were the bearings worn out

Great video. I have an 87 F150 4.9l. It takes quite a bit of force to depress the clutch pedal. It's probably always been that way, but as my left leg gets older, it's starting to complain. I'm wondering if overhauling the clutch would make it easier to operate. I bought the truck used in 1989 and the clutch seems to be working ok. Maybe just wishful thinking.

nice. however, at 41:00 -ish, I see a Ford Power Steering Pump. That can be swapped to a Saginaw unit from the econoline vans (with bracket as well)! Had huge problems trying to get my '78 f150 quiet and found these Saginaws on the van and **bam** nice. edit: oh and I grabbed the Serpentine belt and 3g alternator and bracket ... and '96 4.9l efi manifolds and efi and ... lol, <3 all

I have a 96 F250 4x4 with 5 speed behind a 460. The truck is rotted out , but the running gear is perfect. Id like to run a small block in another truck. Or transfer the transmission to the small block. Is there an adapter plate in front of the transmission??? It seems you said that the heavy 5 speeds would fit the small block pattern. Also have 2, 6.9 IDI automatic trucks. What would need to be done to fit the 460 , 5 speed to them? I know I'll need the flywheel of course. Both of my C6 autos are toasted. If none of this rambling made sense, I'm asking how do you put a bigblock. Transmission behind a small block Windsor bolt pattern engine???

Nicely work! As one who has done a couple of these conversions I can testify as to how straightforward the process is. With each of mine I also changed the spring towers and converted to quad shocks. Early on in your video I knew you would discover the fact that the 2WD & 4WD radius arms were not the same. Others may find it helpful to know the 2WD radius arms from F250 & F350 trucks will work for F150 4WD applications.
