I just got the F40 a week or so ago, because every other mask I tried leaks like crazy and my events were way too high. No matter what I tried, did not work. I ended up wearing a chin strap (which I hate) to help improve things. It did, but not by much. Now with the F40 I still use the chin strap, but my events are way down like zero or 1.5. Yet the thing still leaks. I almost can not believe the numbers. Interesting video. I will try doing my own measurements. Thanks.
Do you have a video on sizing the headgear? I have the standard headgear and cannot get my mask to not leak with it adjusted as tight as it goes. I actually had an extra headgear that I altered but I'd like to know the right way to determine how to figure out what to do to ensure the headgear is sized correctly. I'm hoping that the small headgear will fit without alterations but I need to wait for insurance to cover a new headgear which isn't for another month or so. Thanks!
Hello, I really like your videos. Do you know of a full face that has nasal pillows as well? I use bi-pap high pressures and I am really struggling to solve my issues. Have used bi-pap 30 years so not new to the rodeo. Have tried 'many' full face - ugh. Thanks.
Just got the F40, coming from F20. Like the way it feels except every morning I have this pressure pain right under my nose where the mask is pushing against it too much. I have a size medium, should I go up to large or keep trying to adjust the medium?
Hi, my bipap pressure is around 20, and I really don’t like f20. Was thinking to switch to use f40, but as what you said, I’m afraid the mask would got flattened. Any other recommendations? I wanna use something that allow me wearing glasses. Thanks!
Evora Full Face is the best for holding leaks at high and changing pressures. It doesn't have some ''comforts' though such as a quiet diffuser and swivel joint at the tube/mask connection.
But overall, if you get used to it, it should be able to hold your pressure and allow for you to wear your glasses.
@@thecpapstore thanks for your reply! I went to my local supplier today to try F30, F40 and Evora, and eventually got the Evora! Hope it works well on me
Mouth drop with the f40 causes it to pull it down and away from the nose casing it to leak f20 is a lot better but not as comfortable unfortunately but the leaks with the f40 make it unusable
Thanks for your feedback! Given its new in Canada, this is much appreciated to help educate our clients.
Combined with a chinstrap such as Kightsbridge helps a lot.
