My 5 fave background removers for crafting projects | EASY & FREE!
Removing the background from images is usually the first step when creating print & cut projects or when converting a photo to an SVG. There are a ton of background remover tools available online, so which ones should you choose?
I've made a quick roundup of my 5 favorite 1 click background removers that I use for my Cricut crafting projects. They are easy to use and I am always happy with the results.
My top 5:
pixelcut.ai (pixelcut.ai)
Adobe Express (new.express.adobe.com/)
remove.bg (remove.bg)
Photopea (photopea.com)
Cricut Design Space
Why do I have 5 favorites? Because the algorithm that drives each tool provides different results. If I don't like the results that I get from my first choice, I move on to the next. I don't worry about optimizing images in an editor, I just find the tool that does it right!
In my crafting pursuits, there are things worth spending time on, and there are other tasks that can be handled by the computer.

      You. can add your own fonts to PhotoPea fairly simply. Open the font pulldown menu, and click the Load Fonts button and then select the font you want to use from your computer. I offer a more detailed overview of this process in an updated video I made here: ua-cam.com/video/koiXojv8_X0/v-deo.html I have also compiled a list of 20 "groovy" fonts you can try using the wavy stacked text technique...you can check out that list and download new fonts here: sniptoit.com/groovy-fonts-for-wavy-stacked-text/

    Interesting! All my puff vinyl musst be put SHINY SIDE DOWN because the shiny side is the carrier. So shiny side down, mirror the design, cut, harvest, than press! How could it make sense to cut it from the shiny side? Cricut can’t even cut through the complete vinyl! So that’s why it won’t work. That’s what I learned by using puff vinyl myself. At 04:01 it’s written in the screen “place shiny side down”, but haven’t you told it vice versa when you explained it?

    • @SniptoIt
      @SniptoIt 5 місяців тому

      Hi, sorry for the confusion. In this video, all of the puff vinyl I use has a matte carrier, and the matte side must face the cutting mat. At the 04:01 mark, I am referring to Siser StripFlock Pro, a different type of HTV that I use as a base layer for the puff designs. StripFlock Pro has a shiny carrier sheet. I hope that explains it!
