Good post cyclists changing lanes without looking behind them. Other issue if going through a red light and cause an accident do they receive the same fine the same fine as a motorist and who pays the insurance

It may be just my eyes or the camera angle but the person filming seems to spend a lot of the time on the wrong side of the line down the middle of the road.

isnt it the case that cycles do not have to obey speed limits as they are not powered vehicles. road traffic act 1984 speed limits only apply to motor vehicles. also highway code rule 124 only applies to motor vehicles.. also e bikes are also exempt as they are classed as bicycles, provided they only have a motor capable of 15.5 mph

What I see in this video is the blatant disregard of the law , also a Police officer walks right across in front of these cyclists and does nothing. Also I notice in the comments how people (cyclists) glory in the fact that they can and do break the law. As a cyclist/motorcyclist/car driver and truck driver I won't pretend to have never broken the law but I have never felt the need to boast about it. In my view if your on the road on whels ,whatever they are. You are liable to the laws of the road , and that includes speed limits. I bet if the motorcyclist in this video wennt a few mph over the limit he would have been pulled up by the police. Also if anybody bothers to look motorcycles are listed as cycles on there tax discs. There is an offence of ‘cyclist failing to comply with a traffic sign’ so they can and should be prosecuted. It used to be a fixed penalty.

That's BS, i got stopped in Ealing by the Police and i was going down hill more than 30mph. The Police pulled me over and said you are speeding, but as i can't do you for that because this is not a motorized powered vehicle. I can do you for going on the pavement to go past that car turning right.. Then issued me a ticket for going on the pavement.. There is no law that deals with speeding on a push bike, that's push bike not e-bike before some stupid starts a stupid argument, you said bike = motor bike... TWAT! in advance, your welcome!..

I feel that any & all types of transport using the public highways should have to abide by all the rules of the road with no exceptions. I also feel that all road users should have full insurance. Too many idiots using the roads today.

The fact is that the speed limit is 20mph.. these R Soles who use public roads as an extension of their gym membership claim that having no speedometer (which is a lie.. their phone GPS will tell them their speed).. as such they can't be expected to know their speed.. Tough, R Sole.. that's your problem.. the speed limit is still 20mph. Suck it up.
