Whether this song is played in the midst of the Cold War, the AIDS crisis, in the face of rising fascism, or in a context of a violent movement of trans and homophobia, it continues to speak with power. Thanks T Thomason for keeping this song alive as an anthem in a dangerous time for the LGBTQ+ community.
