Hey all, my name is Cat and I have recently been temporarily laid off from my job as an Airline Pilot due to the current Covid-19 pandemic so I decided to challenge myself to a new "career". I have been mountain biking for a few years now, my best friend Fi introduced me to it, but I have never pushed myself to learn any tricks and just tried to get down the hill in one piece - so now it is time to get outside my comfort zone! Part of the reason for not pushing myself enough at MTB is because I love a few other sports, namely horse-riding, kitesurfing and snowboarding (when I can get to the slopes). This paired with focussing on my career, which I love, has meant I've somewhat ignored improving my MTB skills. Now however I have no excuse, so here goes my attempts to learn Manuals, Bunny Hops, Wheelies, Stoppies and whatever else comes my way, epic fail or not being on Lockdown here in Ireland it will at least keep me busy!

We went to Tignes for a mtb hol and going into the hol my confidence was very low due to a fall recently at a Downhill where I fractured my ribs. Tignes really helped me regain my confidence and doing this jump felt like an amazing achievement. Needless to say I love Tignes!

I wanted to take on this Gap jump in Bree that to me seemed a bit more complicated because of the features on the run in. Will I make it, or chicken out?! I forgot my earphones that day which didn't help my confidence as I always listen to music when I'm facing a new feature so apologies, you'll have to listen to the loudspeaker on my phone!

Thankfully I've been back to work for the last few months so the downside is I haven't had as much time for releasing videos but I am working on a few at the moment! I had a fall where I tore my bicep a few months ago and it has affected my confidence on the trails but recently I rode this trail called Isolation and finally I felt like I was starting to get the flow back!

Well done, congratulations, You can see that You jumped out too early, I noticed that when the kicker is finished with stones, it often happens.
howd u find the coil with that linkage setup cant find them anyware with the rear eyelet turnd the opposite way to the front one wats it calld so a can search it up
That culvert looks interesting for a tall rider. Good riding young lady. No shame using a ebike on the trails. Only downed by those purest while using ski lifts. Right.

Why is the power button all the way at the bottom? BAD!
It didn’t affect me to be honest, you only put it in once at the start of the ride and switch it off at the end.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

i had the fox speedframe and gave it back .. now i have the bell... it fits alot better.. but still the chin part presses against my throat... i might try the leatt 4.0 next :D

Hello!! Just wandering, you bought a kenevo s3 with 475mm reach and you find bullit M (450mm) too big for you? I am in between these two bikes, im 165cm almost like you and trying to guess which will fit better…
Sorry only saw your message now! I think the Kenevo is 470 but yes with the medium you would think the bike would have suited me. The cockpit set up with the wide handlebars (800mm) etc I think made the bike feel bigger than the Kenevo. If it was my own bike obviously the set up would be different. I think both bikes would suit you to be honest so it would depend on your personal preference, best advice I could give is to try get a test ride in. Best of luck with your purchase! 🙌

Im about to buy my first emtb.. My terrain is mostly steep downhill-like... Do i buy a full or light bike? And what brand u reccomend?
I’d highly recommend the Specialized Kenevo expert as I rode it for a few years and it’s just an amazing DH shuttle bike. It depends how many times and with what assistance you want to get to the top of that hill i suppose. I’m now riding the Rise as my pre injured shoulder was aching from the heavier Kenevo. The rise is brill as it still has a lot of assistance but is so light, so going down the trail just feels like your normal bike. Best of luck with whatever you choose! 🙌

Nope I’m riding clips since! Never went back, thou I had flats still on my Kenevo expert cause it’s quite heavy and I didn’t want to be clipped in if it all went south! 🤣

Yes that’s the moustache trail that we end up crying down every year! Hopefully this year we will master it! It’s so scary at the start, definitely a don’t look down trail. 🙈🤣🤣
