First Track Day! (ZX7R vs. S1000RR Battle)
Went to my first track day and took the ZX7-R from the previous build series. I rode in the novice group and found myself behind an S1000RR that I just couldn't seem to pass!

I have a 94 cbr900rr fireblade that I'm working on an the carburetor choke is the exact same as the zx7
What was the wiring problem????
Rubber hoses??? Did they need to be replaced??
I’d go insane at the wiring diagram 😂😂😂. And I’m a motorcycle mechanic 😂😂😂😂.
Wish it was me😮😮😮😮
Great video! Very nice Image Quality! what is the setup?
I wish this bike was FI or there was a conversion available. Truly a remarkable machine.
Absolutely love my zx7r it's got so much soul.......
Great video thank you! Do you know is that bike has the original paint? I can’t find anywhere a picture of that same ZXR750L in whole Lime green…
Thats awesome. I owned an 04 Katana. Loved the bike. Just wish the seat was solo style. Good to see some content on these bikes. They are so underrated. Good solid reliable riding bike. ❤ cheers.
Still sexy af. I love these bikes. Got a penchant for the 10s these days but man, the 7 styling is timeless❤
Golden age of sport bikes
One of the bikes I never had. Would❤ love to get one❤❤❤❤
Stunning! Love to see more of this bike.
A thing of beauty
How is the bike now?
Imagens lindas ,perfeitas ,Obrigado .
I'm considering a ZX7R or a GSXR750 around the 2000 mark,
Any tips on where you guys bought the new parts ? I just got a 1993 zx7r yesterday and I plan on restoring it
@@miguelcamacho5241 eBay is a great source for a lot of retro parts!
@@Toyzwingaragethankyou !
My Dream Bike
should have let us hear the bike instead of adding the music
I wouldn’t even put my 750 kat up against a 7R as the Kats were never meant to be a full on race bike whereas the 7R’s were designed as a road going (homologation) race bike. Pretty pointless exercise really.
She's a Beauty🤩🤩👌🏻
Gorgeous ninja! Sounds like you're still lean with that little miss. I have a 2000 ZX12R and haven't ridden in a year probably. This makes me want to go ride it!
I ride this same bike in Orange!
Ich liebe dieses Motorrad!!!
I'm going to look at a 98 ZX7R in the am. Less than 2k original miles! I wanted one so bad when they came out that I could taste it! 🤘😎🤘
Looks competitive.... and about 30 years older.
That model and the SRAD were beautiful bikes
Wow thanks you!
Wow, this brings back some memories. I had a 96 ZX7R. It was my favorite bike next to my 91 ZX7 that I had.
i ride an 03!
I just got a 90 750f with 8100 miles and was only ridden for two years
how many miles are on your zx7r Do you think its a good track bike as i have built one is it a better novice bike over a 600 supersport bike
still a beauty
One of very few high quality POV ZX7R videos! Kudos!
Love this bike! I need one of this generation.
looks like you could have gotten him/her on the brakes in a lot of corners then driven out while they're adjusting lines after being stuffed. I realize that they might not have allowed you to do that in the novice group. I know that the track days that I used to help out with we only allowed the novices to pass on the straightaways. but if you establish a braking advantage then you become tough to pass. keep riding smart! 👍😎
Great advice. I could tell that I was faster in the corners which made up for my lack of speed in the straights, but my main problem was that I was relying on following his lines too much. I knew that if I passed him then I'd just get slower, and I was learning a lot by following him so I didn't mind too much. (And yes, passing on the inside is prohibited in this novice group.) This is all knowledge that I'll just have to take with me to the next track day!
that was cool.. wish I could do a track day.. I miss my srad gsxr 600 dyno tuned full yosh damn that thing ran good..
My P5 puts out 120bhp at the rear wheel. My neighbours love it when I fire her up. I always have a smile on my face after a ride…😁
My 94 was snappier than the P series ones I have .
90s sportbike are real
What was wrong with the wheels and front tire on the bike? The replacements are beauties, but dang, that stuff is expensive.
Too bad it wasnt a 1989...... Them snorkel just never get old. I remember the first time seeing one it was at the dealer on a slowly turning stand about 3 feet off the ground it was epic!
Aye i see the bike on fb marketplace!! Hopefully i sell one of my vehicles in time!
Yes sir we have so many bikes we gotta let some go!
zx7r push like 77chevy 🤐🤭
Damn, working on the bike while watching MotoGP What a vibe!
Yeah dude watching some old reruns nothing beats watching any motorcycle racing !
Good score on finding this one.
I know as soon as I saw it listed I made my way over there, the guy had CBRs to Gold wings and everything in between, if it wasn’t for his kid nephew posting it for sale on his Facebook this bike may have forgotten for another 15 years, amazing to find a L series with such low miles whatever the condition!
The first ZXR was the H1 and H2 (first hoover tube), the H1 came out in 1989. The K series was the single seat homologation model.. The J models ran after the H models.. Here in the UK the J1 was restricted to 100bhp. I think Kawasaki/Japan was trying to preempt government power restrictions. 💁🏻♂️ Nice to see some team green content 👌🏼
Wow yes I didn’t know that very interesting! Nice bike man we subbed
@Toyzwingarage No worries... Thanks man, subbed right back 😎👍
Nice work with the GSX600F.. it’s quite an unloved bike, which is a shame because they actually go pretty good. Nice looking ZX7R too.. I have its older relative, (dad?), a 1990 ZXR750 H2 Ride safe chaps 👍🏼
