I have a 94 cbr900rr fireblade that I'm working on an the carburetor choke is the exact same as the zx7
I'm considering a ZX7R or a GSXR750 around the 2000 mark,

Ah, with the float bowl vent modification. That's what I'm doing with my ZX7R right now. Have you also swapped the main jets? The main jets are much too rich after the mod with 170 (1+4) and 190 (2+3). The instructions say something about 150/160.
How is the bike now?
Any tips on where you guys bought the new parts ? I just got a 1993 zx7r yesterday and I plan on restoring it
