When you remove the cap from the block after making the measurements, doesn’t it change the measurements when you take it off to sew on a machine?

2024 Thank u so much Ma'am watched your videos (Very detailed 😊) and completed my wig its not as perfect but its my first but i accomplished it measurements in all will try another soon (U no the problem my mannequin head was an Inch to big Got the wrong size so it caused the wig to be loose so I'll get the right size head and try another style 😅❤

How is the cap still able to fit the measurements you previously used without having to stretch it on the sewing machine since the cap had to be stretched in the wig block to fit your measurements?

One cause could be if you stretch the cap while sewing. It can cause bumps/bunching in the wig.

Did you get it? After three tries, take the bobbin out and put it back in the bobbin holder. Also, make sure you hold the needle thread with tension and turn the needle knob counter clockwise.

I'm a beginner and the machine sows too fast for me no matter how gently I step on the foot pedal.
You can get a Brother sewing machine that allows you to control the speed.
