in the new version of blender you might have to click twice

@@2dToolbox i did didnt work . and whenever i trying to chose the brush it take me to the fill bucket

this could be many things. 3 things come to mind. 1) make sure you have the right material selected. you need one, that includes a fill rather than just line! 2) the form you want to fill isnt 100 closed - close all the gaps 3) you are in the wrong view mode - check in the top right. there are 4 circles next to each other. Select the second from the right hope one of these help

Yes it is one of the biggest issues next to the lack of brush settings and a decent library system for them. All hope is with Grease Pencil 3.0 we get some improvements 🙏

Any pen tablet is fine. I started on a wacom bamboo back in 2010. Get a used one somewhere to safe even more money. The next level up would be a wacom intuos (or aquivilant of other brands such as huion) I recommend a size m which is just about dina4. Not too big, not too small! If drawing somewhere else with your hand and seeing the line only on the monitor feels weird, I would recommend getting a huion kamvas 13 pro. Also used if possible. I have a video about drawing tablet stands, that might be interesting to watch as well.. hope it helps 🙏

At home and when traveling, I use a Huion 13 Kamwas Pro and at work an older Wacom Cintique 22 hd - from time to time i also use a Wacom Intuos 2d generation i think

I would recommend a Grafik tablet instead of a mouse, but it doesn't need to be a screen display. A wacom bamboo or wacom intous style tablet is great as well

@@2dToolbox I used the most resent one and then I changed to 3.6 to see if that fixes it. It didn´t.

did you try resetting to the default blender Settings? >File>Defaults>Load Factory Blender settings

How do you make the fill tool not cover the pencil or pen tool lines??? New to Blender. Please help!

Do you try to fill on the same layer as the line art? You should make another layer below the line just for the colouring. Now, all lines should always be in fron of the coloring​@@romarhafnaouiwellhereweare2583

Make sure you ar on 24 or 25 frames per second. Then you could also extend the length of the frames from hold on 3 to hold on 6 frames each
