    Hey Carlos, so I replaced both bulbs and they don't work. Any idea why? And just to make sure I put in the right bulb, what is the bulb number?

    Question is you’ve connected your 12v constant wire to the headlights but it’s only constant when the headlights are on. But doesn’t need the ignition on for the headlights to be on. But does that mean to turn your radio on you have to turn your head lights on ?

      @@darrentimlin9719 what I did for the drivers seat is I used two 1in padding. But the only section that had 2in padding was the seating area not the edges and corners as I was concerned with the fit and it turned out great and comfortable. I used adhesive to glue the two paddings before clamping and putting the seat cover. Hope that I’m making sense and helps out.

      @@cccvwbug4646 ok I'm sorry for all the questions but I don't want to mess it up,, I appreciate your time also :) so I'm guessing you got 1 inch foam and wrapped it around the edges and tied to the springs and then another 1 inch to the exact outline of the top of the seat .......or was it just in the very centre.. and if no.2 would that not show through .... I was assuming tmi foam was 1 inch so I was going to order 1.25 inch foam just to be safe, however now I'm thinking I need to up it.. What did you use for the backs ? I am sorry for the questions but this has probably saved me doing it badly

    • @cccvwbug4646
      @cccvwbug4646 3 роки тому

      @@darrentimlin9719 I actually put the extra cushion on the bottom contacting the springs so the bigger piece that goes around the edges is on top. I could only find 1in so that is why I added more to the drivers seat since I was always driving lol. For the back I just used the 1in but the process is still the same. No worries I’m glad I can assist as I was worried too when doing mine. I plan to do more videos when I start on my 62.

    I drive a 69 VW beetle. He didn't have any type of music in him before so I went and got a system put in. I got a kenwood stereo face plate Two amps, two 12inch subs, two 6x9 speakers, and two 6 1/2. Speakers. I don't know anything about wiring stereo systems. Would you or anyone be able to tell me why does the vocals in the songs cut out as soon as I turn the volume up, Or as soon as the bass in the song drops?

    CCCvwBUG, nice video my friend! I do have a question though. I believe the vw bugs up to about 73-74 have a proper One DIN hole for the radio and I noticed you did not cut out the hole on your 70. Did you cut out the hole prior or was it like that when you got the bug? And if you did, how much material do you have to cut out to fit the One DIN radio? I have 72 SB...it still has the standard hole...

    • @cccvwbug4646

      Keith D thank you for the comment. Unfortunately the car already had the hole on this one. From my experience most stereos come with an instal kit with the needed dimensions. I wish I could be more help.
