Replacing the oil pressure sensor on 2012 GMC Sierra shortcut
So….where’s the video showing us how it’s done?
Bought my 04 F-150 XLT used (80,000 mi) Kept indoors...almost mint cond. (slight wear on drivers seat, otherwise like new. A lot of these F-150's experienced pine holes in radiator. I replaced my work truck's radiator but the prior owner of this used truck used "stop-leak" to fix his. NEVER do that! It plugged the heater core... and caused the heat temp sending unit to fail. Had to lift the intake manifold to replace the heat sensor and a good back flush solved the heater problem.
A shop rag wrapped around the belt and placed between the pulley works in a pinch
Kit designer😂
That's not even that bad
Excellent video! I just changed both on 2008 4.2. I purchased those hose grip pliers from Harbor Freight and it was piece of cake for me!
Still good video!🤙
Oo he work in Franklin Heyyy
Or you can just use some zip ties and save your money.
Old school metal boxes better to me.
My suspension fails sometimes making my car get too low, the other day it said I can ride 35mph, and I have to turn the car off and back on to get suspension to function, what do you think the problem is
@MrSeaturtle2012 the air box in the trunk where the spare tire is i would start there
Have you solve the problem today i got same problem? Anyone know what to do?
Where are you located? Im looking for a mechanic in San Diego and i can tell you do good work.
@SDGunfighter thank you, but right now I'm in Louisiana
Do you use those little black rings ? For the water to not leak?
If they do decide to change the engine rip-off that upgraded aluminum oil cooler and put it on the new engine. Terrible design.
RAM quality for ya
He hit something or motor locked up
No lol did it get locked
@robertoduran2122 no it still starts up and runs

I know its an oldish video, i. Just replacing my heater core, can you elaborate for me on what made it take 6 hours? Watching this makes it seem like maybe a couple hours of work max
just replaced my heater core and it gave out like 2 weeks after🤦♂️
Amazing job however due to removing the whole front end, I would replace every single part in front belt tensioner ect . 😎💪🏼
@johnnyjohnz1992 your right bu sometimes the customer doesn't want to do it
I definitely understand, I learned the hard way. Its sucks being stuck on the road due to procrastination you know.
@johnnyjohnz1992 @DatWestcoastMechanic, I just found the same leak on my S7. What parts do you recommend changing? I was looking into replacing all of the hoses and pipes, potentially the oil separator and intercooler pipe.
What was the recharge capacity of that system in grams
I was looking for this for hours Thanks boss
Mine had a bad ecu I had to have repaired. The coil driver was bad in the ecu
I thought rtv goes on both sides? Between the oil pan in the gasket and between the engine and the gasket. Am I wrong??
@@hashemkadri3009 it just has to go on the 4 corners
Hi. Thank you for this video. I'm stuck at the removal of the blower assembly. My configuration is different than yours. I have a 2010 outback. I only see two bolts. Help please.
Hey bro, can you tell me where you ordered your replacement hose from? Auto zone? Ford? eBay?
I got them from autozone
Must be a cheap wrench.
Mechanic are just parts changers. So they have crappie tools. A technician has real tools and does not lend out his tools at all. And a lube tech is also a mechanic.
@6jdhd i get that but I'm a team player and always willing to help and make sure that everyone can properly do there job
As a master diagnostician I also do heavy line and while you’re partially right there’s also mechanic that do technical work which makes them technicians so there is no more terms used like grease monkey or parts changer unless it’s an old garage that works on antiques only so yeah there I have to disagree and also wrong about lube techs are exactly that oil change personal and are not mechanics just because they can change a bolt or two doesn’t mean they are qualified as mechanics cuz a mechanic full fledged mechanic can do overhauls/ r&r and heavy line. Also tools that are cheap or not is in the beholder and if you were a a real tech or mechanic you will know all tools break regardless in how you use it or not. Every tool is not exempt from breakage thus why they are given warranty or not for I’m well over $100k in tools and I yet to break anything because I have all tools for the right job but if it does I have lifetime warranty be it all the truck brands I have or send outs. Just saying a little education on the matter before you speak on things you don’t know clearly nothing enough or nothing at all.
The Diddy tech
Same thing Happens to me often my mac guy usually gives me the deal if I bring it to his attention. Most times he catches it before I do though. He's a awesome tool dealer & friend
@@PUREBLOOD4LIFE yeah, he's gonna warranty it out.
I learn this from a master mechanic. Never ask to barrow my tools nad I never ask if I can pimp out you wife. No wife hows mom?
Never loan a luber goober anything .
If a lube tech brings back a broken wrench someone's drain plug is either stripped or will never come off without using an impact😂😂😂
I am currently stuck in brake maintenance mode. Smh
6:06 t30 btw ...
I concur, you definitely want to use the best quality parts when you're doing labor intensive jobs. Cheap parts will definitely let you down.
I got that belt. It's to small. How does it go on
“They are” but it’s just a whole opposed too an actual valve. 5.3 V8 2011 Same issue. Catch can seems too be working. Now I’m not sure though if the C.case Ventilator I added too the catch can, is disrupting the actual C.Case line’s pressure though 🤔
Do you just put a drop on each corner I’m about to replace my gasket
@@Flcracker921 yes
Replace all 6 injectors since they don’t cost much and as far as sparkplugs/ if they are due for plugs than do them too but ignition coils I leave alone since they are expensive
Must've lost his 10mm in the oil fill...?
Should of got the usag as they are the same but far cheaper
What's the likelihood of one of the other injectors going bad?
It is very likely we have come back in the past, and then the customer has to pay double the labor a few weeks later, so now we don't take the chance. We try to make sure the customer dosen't come back
Uhhh if you were able to accurately diagnose what the car needed, why would you sell them extra injectors that were not needed. It's not a sealed unit like a transmission. Fucking joke.😂
Yup, would have sold that oil cooler too
