This is very informative. I think Bible is like a dictionary， metaphors and corresponding answers are dispersed in different places,especially prophecies. maybe we are just absent a key to find out every detailed meaning unless God illuminates us.

Amazing,thank you,few months ago l heard Jesus that l am in agreement with accuser cause lm not perfect and yesterday l was pushed by the Holy Spirit to go deeper in that and to forgive myself for things l forgot,He showed me a loooot of memories and then this comes up and first words of this process were the same,not perfect,l am in awe really how He does this,l could never think of that,thankful for same Holy spirit in us,rare for me...God bless you and keep you

Hi Ashley sister, this kind of messes with my head AND it doesn't,I like it too, yet I KNOW I am a guilty sinner and I KNOW what I do deserve = The Lake of fire for all eternity I deserve to burn alive for my myriad sins. BUT God through Christ Jesus has forgiven my sins ( and yours) so I really struggle in this dualistic brain we have to forgive my sins=Me as the forgiver ? I don't think I'll beat myself up about it though,this world doesnt half like to make us walk down condemnation street, it must be one of the worthless shepherds favourite passtimes! The Self-Confrontation approach through most Christian Counseling beats up the person for having these feelings. It’s extremely counterproductive to healing.

Thanks for this information. My wife and I have had a very difficult marriage over our 27 years (IMO mostly due to her issues, the proverbial difficult spouse). I responded by doing bad things too. I don't have a good opinion of marriage now, and the difficulty resulted in me moving away from Christ.

I used to be a lapsed Christian because I had been through some terrible experiences and no longer attended any congregation,but even that I still choosed to believe in God for his kingdom come as I craved happiness

Humility is a good habit to study. It is not surrender rather a de-emphasis of the self. We get hurt to easily. Marcus Aurelius and Jesus are good teachers . We are actually in charge of our responses to others which are usually habitual and so can be changed by patience and persistance. Love is patience, kindness, understanding and forgiveness towards others. Love your self a lot and cultivate inward feelings of self worth (Wayne Dyer).

Does the Jezabel spirit know who the prophetic people are? I just had a controlling busy body try to come against me and my husband.

Remember that the law is the Ten Commandments, God's righteousness, His ordinances and precepts; in other words, His "ways." In the New Covenant, His law of love prevails summing up the whole of Scripture. He fulfilled His law perfectly by living the perfect life in a human body for 33 and 1/3 years. When we with the heart believe and follow Him, that perfect life He lived is supernaturally imputed to us (via quantum physics) just as if we had lived it perfectly ourselves. That is called imputed righteousness, and is the result of believing (John 6:29) as He tells us to do. So we can study and meditate (Ps. 77:10-12) on His laws as the Scripture tells us to to renew our minds (Rom. 12:2) in order to walk more in alignment (Amos 3:3) with Him. However, striving to perform His laws in our own human effort He calls "self-righteousness" or filthy rags (Rom. 10:3). Unacceptable. The goal of maturity is to learn to rest in the finished work of Christ (John 19:30, Heb. 10:14) in His perfect life, perfect death, perfect burial and perfect resurrection knowing that as we continue to believe that all of that good stuff (2 Cor. 5:18-19) has been credited to our account with Him forever. Hallelujah!

I am a pagan and an atheist - but I agree with your theme - mastering yourself through submission - a great work of psychology & thank you. As per the Gnostics and the Greeks, the light lays within. For me, Jesus is a heroic figure and teacher like Beowulf, Buddha, Epictetus and others - he submits to a superior force (symbolically) to achieve transcendence by eliminating the inner conflict that is so prevalent in the world today. For me the beauty of Christianity lays when you read it as mythology, for me personally. Namaste.

This is awesome! Thank you! I`ve been trying to get closer to God by praying and reading Scriptures, and trying hard many other things, jumping & copying others/worshippers....but it has never led me anywhere constantly. I`ve remained "on my own". Like trying to earn His LOVE, and love of others. It`s just that I can`t sense it when it happens, but then understand it when look back. Hard to submit, bc its my will/Devil is so strong and I only see it when it`s already going on full spectrum.

Jesus simplified the Father’s desire. The law of love is amazing. Scripture comes alive when those 2 commandments become the foundation of Christianity. God’s law is written in our hearts, not on tablets of stone. Loving is easier than hating.

I believe a better word for "causes" is "tempts." Abuse certainly leaves you vulnerable, but you still have a choice to pursue bitterness or betterness. This is why two siblings who grew up in the same home with the same parent/s can turn out worlds apart. They both have experienced abuse, but one may choose the path of hardness and cruelty, while the other chooses softness and kindness. There is also a difference between explaining and excusing behavior. These explanations you are providing are very helpful to extend loving kindness to ourselves and others in the violent wake of abuse, but they can't be used as excuses since we are all responsible to govern ourselves.

When l use an onion....l only use the inside. U cut away the first layers.....their is the best part. Same as us. I have had so much truamas, low sence of value, hidden wounds l could not face. Well....l did. Solitude healed me allot. I stayed with what came up, l met my younger self. She was full of life. Then was sad as life tore her apart. People used and abused her. I have brought her into my arms daily. I see what l could have been....with love given. Freedom to be me. Peal it all back folks....their you are. And has been searching for you too. Ireland
